Himalayan Pink Salt Scrub, 12 oz - Body & Face Exfoliator with Almond Oil

Honestly, I was debating buying this product, but I accidentally clicked it with one click on the phone app, so I just stuck with it. I got it in the mail pretty quick, and I opened it up and saw it was smaller than I thought, but it was packed with product. I used it and in the shower the smell isn't strong but it isn't unbearable, which is perfect for me, then I felt my skin after the shower it was so soft and moisturized I was so pleased. 10/10 I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone debating buying it. ADD IT TO YOUR CART LADIES, AND GUYS IF YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER LIKES STUFF LIKE THIS ITS PERFECT!

I used this in my shower today. Mine is far lighter than the picture, almost white. I was surprised at the dry texture of this product but it works really well! The smell isn't bad but it's not my favorite either. It's such a faint smell that it wouldn't stop me from getting it again, especially with how well it worked. It burns a bit sometimes, if I've left it on too long before rinsing or if I use it immediately after shaving my legs. That isn't a deal breaker for me. My body feels so soft and smooth. I don't feel dry or oily at all after using this, like I have with other products. I'll definitely buy this again.

There are some things that I really like about this product and some things that I don't like. Things I don't like: - it's a little wasteful. The product is sort of like a moist fine grain salt. However it was not moist enough to not cause a mess. As a result, a lot of it ended up on my shower floor since it fell right off my skin as I was trying to exfoliate. Things I like: - it doesn't leave me greasy or slippery feeling. My skin just felt smooth & moisturized. - it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I actually barely noticed the scent. Unfortunately, the fallout caused me to use almost a quarter of the jar during my first use (legs & stomach), but I think next time if I mix it with a little bath soap/gel, I won't have nearly as much fall out. UPDATE: I just used this while taking a bath (I normally take showers). I would recommend using this while in the tub. There was significantly less fallout and the fallout that there was, only made the bath water silkier.

Wow, this left my skin so soft! Yes, it's a lot lighter color than the actual picture, and somewhat grainy in texture. What I mean, is that is spills very easily if you are not careful, but I think that's just because there are no chemical binders in this. That is a plus! It didn't smell much of almonds, but has a nice, non overpowering fragrance. I used this for the first time to exfoliate my legs before shaving. I got the smoothest shave I have ever had, and my legs stayed so soft for days afterwards. This is going to be a staple stay for me. I will definitely reorder! :)

The looks of this jar is deceiving in the picture. When it arrived I was quite surprised at how small it was. Most body scrubs that I have purchased in the past are two to three times larger. The jar arrived not in a box but covered in shrink wrap plastic. Immediately after removing the plastic I felt oil all over the inside and it got all over my hands. When I opened the lid the protective cover wall pulled halfway off and there was nothing inside the jar but the salt. There were also brown spots inside the lid further indicating that the product tampered with or had sat on the shelf for awhile. I did not send it back but instead added my own almond oil to the jar. I will say the scent of the product is nice. But I will not buy again due to the small jar and the condition the product was in when it arrived. I will stick with my Alba Hawaiian salt scrub!

I love this scrub! I use it on my face in the morning to scrub off dead skin cells, then follow it up with a charcoal cleanser to remove any excess oils since my skin is very poreous and prone to breakouts. My skin is so soft and feels so clean after my little routine thanks to this amazing scrub! The scrub is also great for dry hands - my knuckles were so red and chapped from cold Chicago weather but I was pleasantly surprised to find an added bonus of softer, healed hands after using this for washing my face!

I purchased these 4 body scrubs as a gift to 4 nurses for extraordinary care I recently received from them after a stay in the hospital. My wife and I have been using and enjoying salt and oil body scrubs for many years and know what a quality body scrub feels, looks and performs like. We opened one of the jars to check the quality when we received these scrubs as we suspected right away from the sounds of the loose salt in the jar something was not right. These salt scrubs are usually jars of salt heavily saturated or soaked in a quality oil that is good for the skin. When you go to apply the salt scrub, it usually requires scooping out the salt/oil mixture with a spoon or fingers closed to capture the salt and oil liquid. You then apply the mixture to the body and rub the moist salt/oil mixture all over the skin scrubbing and exfoliating the skin from the salt content and at the same time moisturizing and smoothing the skin area from the quality oil the salt is saturated in. When we heard all 4 of the jars sound like salt shakers we decided we had better check the quality before giving these as gifts. The one we opened was pretty much just a jar of salt granules and when testing on our hands, the salt with no visible oil content just fell off onto the floor because it lacked any oil at all which is a key ingredient. It did leave a slight oil sheen on the hands so there must have been some oil in the mixture but clearly not enough to allow the product to perform as intended. Very disappointed and now I have the inconvenient hassle of repackaging and returning the product. I'm a avid user and big fan of Amazon but these rare product quality failures are still disappointing.

This scrub was very “meh” and I don’t recommend it. It’s very very dry, so you need a lot of product just to spread it around on your skin. Also, the granules are quite fine, so they dissolve quickly once they hit water (such as wet skin). You need to use a lot of product in order to scrub for any length of time, if you’re using this in the shower. It does do a decent job of exfoliating (when you really heap it on), but the actual product isn’t even like the picture or the description. It doesn’t have a smell, and it isn’t all that “pink”, either (it’s almost white). I will just make my own DIY version and not repurchase this. On the plus side, the small container it came in will work well for small batches of homemade body scrub...
