I have had problems wearing my Very expensive hearing aids for almost 2 years. I could never wear them for more than a couple of hours at a time because my ears itched so bad. The packaging: “The gel is indicated to make it easier to insert hearing aids into the ear canal. The gel allows a better tolerance of the hearing aid. Apply the gel to the surface of the hearing aid. Do not obstruct the openings of the hearing aids.” Price is $9 for 5ml (or $53.25 an ounce). I would return it but don’t want to deal with the hassle.
