10/10
Thanks to gold coast resin incredibly detailed and easy-to-follow instruction pamphlet included in the box, I was finally able to create a successful epoxy piece! The results are great. It cured flawlessly in under 24 hours, with a smooth and professional finish. This resin is well-suited for deeper molds, which I’m planning next. I’m thrilled to have found this epoxy. It has proven to be worth the money. Gold Coast Resins has saved me so much, the quality and reliability is unmatched, making it a fantastic choice for beginners and experienced artists like myself. I’m absolutely over the moon with my purchase and can confidently recommend this epoxy to anyone looking for outstanding results.

Good quality epoxy.
I will get started by saying that this is good quality of epoxy and it does cure very clear. I use this epoxy to make my wooden knife handles and it is definitely good quality, it is easy to use and self levels. With that being said I think this is priced a bit high to be considered a great value, but again it is good epoxy. When it cures it is hard but it is not a super hard epoxy. My final thoughts are that this is good functional epoxy it is just a bit expensive and can be a bit messy to use due to its runny consistency

Great product
I started small with this resin art however after continued success over and over. I brought the 64oz and much more. I’ve used a lot of resins and this one is the best I have found. This Gold Coast Resin has great work time. From mixing until it starts to harden, which is usually 25-40 minutes. It is crystal clear with no odor. I will continue to buy this brand, though it’s pricey than others, you get what you pay for. I like not having to toss projects that don’t work. Great job Gold Coast epoxy, I will continue to buy this resin....

Easy even for novices
I don't have a lot of experience with resin, but I needed to use it for a very important project. Our close friend, who was a deputy sheriff in our very small town, passed away suddenly in his sleep from a massive heart attack. I wanted to make a memorial display with some momentos and photos. It is a table top so I wasn't concerned about the weight, but it was important that it look really nice. Our neighborhood friends would get together every Friday night to play cards and we wanted to make a display where he sat. I cleaned the table really well, and built a small square frame that I covered with plastic wrap, and held in place with clamps to be sure no resin would leak out. The mixture was easy to mix, It's a simple 1:1 ratio of resin and hardener. I had a couple flowers from his funeral that I dried and pressed, a medal he won in our town fair's demolition derby, a couple of pictures, the last quarter that he bet in our card game, and a saying he quoted often in vinyl letters. I poured very slow, and it worked perfect. I was able to get it deep enough that it shouldn't wear off. I did let the table set for a week and I removed the frame and took a palm sander and sanded the sides to square it up. At our next card game, I put the table out and everyone was in tears. I do feel like it was a small way to always remember our dear friend and give his spot the honor it deserved. As a novice this resin kit was easy to work with and I got the perfect results I was going for.

It’s great but so expensive
This has become one of my new favorite resins. It’s a one-to-one ratio mix so it’s really easy to use. There’s no strong smells, or lingering odors. I still use a protective mask, but in the past, even with that, I’d sometimes have to avoid the room for a few more days. It does take a few days to cure fully, but the end result was worth it. It’s not for deep pours so I try to use it with trays or small figures. It does get quite hot so I’ve avoided using some of my cheaper molds for it as I don’t know if they can withstand it. It is very much on the higher end of my budget so I try to use it sparingly or if I need a really clear layer. I haven’t had any issues with any of the pieces I’ve made yellowing or losing color. It is self leveling so I’ve been careful where I pour it, and made sure it is a flat surface. My end result has always been very clear and detailed, so I’m very happy with the quality of it.

Awesome set for a brand new beginner!
Before using this epoxy resin kit, I had never attempted to work with resin. I’d been wanting to try it for quite a while but was intimidated. The things that kept me from attempting it were potential odors/fumes, the need for a UV lamp, and the possibility of projects not turning out well due to things like bubbles, lack of clarity, etc. The advertising claims for this epoxy resin set were promising, and I’m happy to report that none of those things were an issue! Before looking into it, I was under the assumption that you had to have a UV lamp to cure resin; so I was glad to find out that wasn’t the case. This cures pretty quickly, all things considered. It was set after the advertised 24 hours, but I let it continue to sit for about 48 hours just to be on the safe side. The 1:1 ratio couldn’t be any easier to mix, so I appreciate that part too! My first pieces—a few pairs of earrings to start small—turned out way better than I expected for a first try! They’re crystal clear and have zero bubbles whatsoever. I did end up with one small bubble after pouring, but I used a heat gun as recommended, and it got rid of it easily. I’m eager to try more projects! This resin worked so well for me that I doubt I’ll even try another brand, at least not while I’m still learning, as this one was so easy for me to use.

Long cure time
I didn't realize this wasn't a UV curing resin. I need faster curing for my projects, so i had to test this for something out of my realm. It's 2 small bottles that you have to mix, so it's not as easy to use like some of the UV resins I've used. It does seem to work like it should. It dries clear, and I didn't see any bubbles. It cured clear, but didn't seem to be as hard as some of the other resins I've used.
