I’ve sent two vacuums back that were three times the price as this one in the last month. I’m 60 and my vacuum (I used to just love) (shark) became too heavy and bulky for me. I was looking for light weight and great suction mostly with attachments to clean under things. We have two dogs so dog hair is always a problem. Those were my main needs. After thinking what the heck and reading the reviews I went ahead and purchased this one. I got it yesterday and opened it up and when I took it out it was only in two easy pieces to click together and had two attachments for the wand. It was much smaller and wayyyyy less bulky and a ton lighter than my other vacuum. It looks a “little cheap”. And I was worried about that. But I plugged it in and went to town cleaning the WHOLE house and baseboards! I emptied the canister FOUR times! It picked up way more than my other expensive vacuum for sure! Seemed to get more ingrained dirt in my rugs out. I loved it! Now..the down sides. It’s loud (no much more than my other one) but that wasn’t a huge requirement for me. The wand is short and the brush attachment doesn’t swivel like my other one so it makes it harder to get to underneath things. The bristles in the attachment brush are very hard. And the roller brush brushes under the vacuum are very hard too and not forgiving. This vacuum literally is sooo strong I hope it doesn’t tear up my wool rug. But so far it just cleaned it excellently. The last thing is the cord is shorter than my other vacuum. But..all in all I am ecstatic about the price and the way this vacuum gets my house cleaner than before! If your on the fence I’d just buy it and at least give it a chance. I think you’d be very surprised at how great it is especially for the price!

This seems like a mini little vacuum and I clean houses so it is but it has the power of a huge heavy vac and some don’t even pick up all that this does. I understand it’s brand new, but still. It is lightweight and easy to move around, which is great because of my inabilities to lift much. The power that it has it basically made my carpet look brand new again and I live in an apartment. I did purchase the warranty cuz some things don’t last long but Eureka this thing is great right now, I hope the power stays. I spilled litter all over the carpet the other day, it was delivered over night and all the litter is gone gone. I went over it several times but it seemed to pick it up right away. Thank you I’m pretty satisfied with this!! Will recommend.

I bought a vacuum from here May of last year that I was overly excited about. I don’t much care about the names or aesthetics of vacuums as I do about the suction it provides. That is honestly all I care about. Everything is expensive now so if I can buy a good vacuum for less then of course that’s where my aim is. As far as the vacuum I bought here before it started giving me kickback on anything I vacuumed up. I reached out to the supplier and I received an email back from them in less than two days with instructions of a location to take it to for repairs right in my area,they use the zip code to decide. I’ve not dealt with that just yet because we’ve had some really frigid days here in Chicago,but I definitely will sooner than later. In the meantime I have OCD as well as pets so I hopped on here,did some research and review reading and purchased this one. There weren’t a lot of options for same day delivery (which is what I needed & wanted), but there were a few in the price range where I was comfortable. So with this vacuum the suction is good,but not as good as the last one. Yet I’m happy with the performance of it. The canister is much larger so it holds more. It’s not necessarily easy to maneuver,but the vacuum is not a heavy one. It’s not an ugly bulky vacuum and it sits perfectly in a small space in the corner. It is loud and louder than my last one,but honestly it’s a dull loud if you can make sense of that. I love that the hose where the attachments go has a nice stretch to it,my last one didn’t. This one came with an extra filter which is a plus. The filters are washable. Piecing it together was like a 3 step process,very easy. The two steppers are at the bottom to change the position of the vacuum and to cut it on and off,you don’t have to bend for either. The cord could be longer,but it’s not terribly short. Overall I’m satisfied. The first one that just clunked out spoiled me with its suction,hope it’s fixable. I’m not sure if I can say the name of that one so that’s why I haven’t,but it’s a popular brand that makes them in different price ranges. It’s in my history of reviews on here. Besides the fact that this vacuum gives me slight hesitation when maneuvering it is really my only complaint. So one should be mindful of that. It’s not a bad hesitation yet it was noticeable to me (I’m 45). I don’t have bulky carpet or rugs in here (the home),but it did vacuum the ones I have up nicely. I’m in a two bedroom ,one bath (rugs in here),living room,long hallway,kitchen (rugs also) and today is day 3 and I haven’t dumped it so that my review would be fair. I’ll dump it today and I’ve used it everyday since it was delivered and the canister still isn’t full yet. I have two dogs and two cats. Nothing about this purchase made me say that I would send it back so again I’m satisfied with my biggest win when it comes to a vacuum which is the suction. Also,the attachments are a nice addition and I was able to use them for small small corners without actually having to lift the vacuum itself up and move to get to those corners. That is due to the stretch of the hose where the attachments go. Therefore I like the build of the vacuum.The delivery person actually followed instructions which is a plus and has it days. If I could I would’ve given it a 4.5 star instead of just the 4. 😊👌🏾 hope this very long lol review helps.

I’ve been using a cordless vacuum for over a year to vacuum an area rug in my living room and the hardwood floors throughout the rest of my apartment. It worked for the most part but the floors and especially the rug never felt really clean. I just used the cordless one the day before this one was delivered. I didn’t have huge expectations for this vacuum because of the cheaper price and the fact that I have a cat that sheds everywhere. It has been my general experience that most vacuums are not great with pet hair. But when I plugged in this Eureka vacuum and went over my rug just one time with it, I was shocked! It cleans cat hair and dust SO WELL! I will probably never buy another cordless vacuum cleaner. Here is a picture of what the new Eureka vacuum picked up AFTER I used the cordless one on the same rug! This vacuum cleaner is awesome and very much worth the price. And it’s still very much a lightweight vacuum. It doesn’t fall over and it seems like it will be fairly durable, as well. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great little vacuum! Easy to assemble remaining pieces and wow, has great suction power. Amps matter! My first test was to see how it handled some millet (bird) seeds that spilled out of a bag. Those are very tiny seeds. It got all of them out of a low-pile (about 1/2”) carpet. I have 2 cats and it’s summer w/shedding galore despite brushing. I used it in their favorite room (bedroom) and oh my, I couldn’t believe how much it picked up. It also does well on my tile floor . The tiles have grout between them and is impossible to sweep clean w/a broom - only a vacuum gets it all. This Eureka does a great job on that. Dust canister is easy to pop off and empty-no hands. I saw some reviews where people mentioned it “spit” some dust or particles out the back but I didn’t notice that. I will say you might want to get one of those dusters on a handle to dust the inside of the canister, especially the opening where it sits on the vacuum. Any particles that stay on that rim would create tiny gaps allowing dust to spit out. A slightly larger “gasket” might prevent that but would add to the cost. Just keep that rim clean on both canister and where it sits on the main body. Like any vacuum there is noise but I didn’t find it to be too bad compared to my big canister. It doesn’t have a light but that’s no issue if your area is well lit. This model tilts back but won’t fit all the way under a standard height bed. I once had a Eureka canister decades ago that I loved; never had a problem with it and it lasted a very, very long time. I tend to be brand-loyal and was happy to see this Eureka stick vacuum. I prefer corded models. Amps matter - at this price point it is an excellent product with good amperage. I have a big canister vacuum that is quite powerful w/12 amps but tends to be a pain to lug out and use since it’s heavy. I love this Eureka!!!

The vacuum works well for the most part. I like that it's lightweight, and the container part is easy to remove and clean. I dislike that the cord is short compared to other vacuums I have had. The thing that is really awful about this is that when you use the hose attachment to clean the couch, there is hardly any sucking power, so the detachment feature is basically useless.

bang for buck does the job it aint top of the line but it sucks!!!!

Excited as we have been without for a while now. And I wasn’t looking to pay hundreds for the best I could get so I chose this one which was right in my price range. We have used it once. Let me just say this. You most definitely get what you pay for with this one. It’s small, feels cheap, sounds a bit funny on carpet but it does work. And in the end that’s all I wanted. So we shall see about longevity which I cannot comment on yet. Fingers crossed it lasts a good bit!

Don't buy this hoover it came with a usa plug so I got a plug converter all great, started it up it was very loud and I saw orange sparks then smoke shotting out I've only had this hoover 2 days and this happened the 1st time I used it.

This is a lovely lightweight vacuum, BUT it comes with a USA style two pin plug, so you can buy a converter to change it to a three pin, but I didn't think the power would be same as the UK, so I returned it

Plugged it in and instead of sucking was blowing everywhere then sparks started coming out of the plastic bit at the bottom. Freaked me out. Nearly started a fire. I notice another person had the same experience! Also comes with a American plug so you need an adapter in the UK. I'd avoid this like the plague.
