Govee Car LED Strip Lights, Smart RGBIC Interior Car Lights, APP Control

I installed this Govee interior lighting kit in my 2020 Tesla Model Y Long Range, and it completely changed the feel of the cabin. The installation was straightforward and took less time than expected. The included adhesive held well, the wiring was easy to route and hide, and everything connected without any issues. The brightness and color quality are excellent. Whether using a single color like green or blue, or cycling through different scenes, the lighting is vibrant, even, and adds a premium atmosphere to the interior. The app is easy to use and offers a ton of customization options, allowing you to adjust colors, brightness, effects, and music modes with just a few taps. What impressed me most was how well the lights illuminate the footwells without being distracting while driving. They provide a clean ambient glow that looks great at night and makes the interior feel much more upscale. -The Good- Completely changes the feel of the car. Looks great. Remote is available for quick control (On/Off, small range of solid lights (9), and brightness). App provides TOTAL control of the lights. So many possibilities of different colors and sequence of illumination it's virtually unlimited. My head is spinning 😁👍🏽. Installation - Much easier than I thought (2022 Honda Accord). Recommend laying all the lights out and finding good surfaces to attach to. Ensure the wires reach and can be hidden whenever possible for a clean look. Attach adhesive surface as the ABSOLUTE last step. Check that lights light up, wires reach, and hide wires before attaching LED strips to car. -The Bad- App - There are a couple of different options for download so it's not crystal clear, but still not too hard to figure out. App Setup - Not completely bad on the product but my era of not paying close attention to the model number I purchased. If you don't put the correct model number in the app then it's as if the phone and app just can't find each other for the Bluetooth connection. And you are forced to connect the lights to your phone through the app. You cannot go through your phone's settings like you do for ever other Bluetooth enabled product. Adhesion - I saw many complaints in other reviews before I purchased so I planned accordingly. I bought some Alien Tape from Lowes just in case I would need some extra stickiness to keep the lights in place. It's been a couple of weeks since I installed the lights. Of the 4 light strips the only one that occasionally looses it grip and falls is the one under the drivers seat. After it fell the 2nd time I used the old Alien Tape (double sided). Even with the Alien tape (which is really sticky) the strip still slowly becomes dislodeged. Translation--> The adhesion for this product is not terrible, but it's not great either. You have to really try to find a good even, smooth surface to attach too. Under my seats there is cloth and I can't really see the surface, only feel for a good spot to attach. The strip under the back of the passenger seat has held with no problem or Alien Tape. -Ugly- None -Summary- Truth be told I would give a 4.5 if I could but decided to round up. I actually already recommended this product to my wife so there you go. I'm putting my personal safety and well-being on the line to recommend this product to others.

Extremely happy with purchase & worked great on my Bronco Sport 2025 Outer Banks. Clean install just wish they could also include Velcro to make easy to attach to seats in case done side doesn’t work. Also I can use CarPlay to turn on & off. Thanks to the Govee App. I was able to do a clean look no visible cables anywhere at all. I got lucky with the way the Bronco is built. I strongly recommend to others and especially Bronco Sport owners. Just need to run through the center console and hide the main controller by the drivers side.

The fit is perfect , the colors/ modes are perfect/ the app functionality is also perfect. The only thing that is truly wrong with this lights is the ADHESIVE. Put them on and the back seat visible ones immediately were falling. If your car is anything like mine and has a furry texture under the seats it will be very difficult for them to stick. I ended up super glueing the strips on underneath the seats.

these car strips are amazing! i had the older version from 4 years ago and amazon prompted me that there was a newer version available and it was this one! the functionality is so much better and customizable! bluetooth was easy to connect to my phone. the lights are durable however the adhesive doesnt stick the best without some pressure but i just used some velcro from my drawer to help it out. the lights get bright and you can adjust the brightness if its too low or high for your eyes. you can also chose from other peoples light patterns that they created themselves! you can also make your own patterns which i love the most or you can just chose one solid color! decent size to get your care glowing at night!

Really wide thick led strip not like the normal cheap ones this one has a plastic clear piece across the strip so will be protected if any liquid falls on it / easy to clean if needed I like that u can adjust the brightness on the actual remote piece just make sure when installing the wire is tucked out of the way of feet because I did accidentally kick it off the driver side but was able to reuse the strip and it still stuck really good the adhesive is strong it’s compatible with most cars as long as you have a cigarette lighter/usb port really surprised by quality and price is nice it covers the whole layout of the car (front and back ) you can also get the app I already have it because I have lightbulbs from this brand particular it works with Alexa I am very pleased and happy with these leds lights !!!

Ok, so I know the 3 star is probably a little harsh, but I am rating these lights as such because the adhesive on the back of them is quite possibly some of the worst I have ever encountered on any item I have ever received from Amazon. The lights themselves are quite pretty, and the app is very intuitive, but the adhesive was, and continues to be the most annoying part of the whole experience. I am a big guy, I had surgery on my cervical spine last year, so when I say trying to fold myself into the size necessary to install these under the seat of my Prius is not only physically painful, it’s mentally and emotionally exhausting. I’ve tried twice and I’ve given up twice. I’m going to try again one more time tonight, the adhesive is completely gone at this point, so I have duct tape and zip ties (it comes with a small pack of zip ties but they are so small, as to be completely inefficient for the task of mounting these lights) I will edit this review if I am able to get these lights mounted to my satisfaction, but judging by the experience I have had so far I am far more likely to request a refund than I am to actually be successful.

I love almost everything Govee makes so when I decided to install lights in my car of course I went with these. I read the reviews so I also purchased some 3m tape to avoid having the problem of their adhesive not sticking. They connect to your phone through bluetooth and have worked flawlessly. They also have a remote attached to the wiring. I will likely never use it but I used some more 3m to attach the remote in an inconspicuous place that is still reachable. I thought about removing a star just because they are really aren't bright enough during the day on 100% brightness but I really don't want to switch between high and low from day to night anyway so I'll just leave them on 100%. I've had them for a week now and I leave it set on purple but the features the lights offer are incredible. There are different scenes you can use and every color under the sun! They will pulse based on the music your listening to or can do a slow fade from color to color. They are compatible with my existing Govee app. I'm happy with my purchase. Can you get a similar product for less dollars? Absolutely. I just like the Govee brand. I'd say if your on the fence, just go ahead and order them and a roll of 3m tape of course.

I was a bit worried at furst, but after receiving the product I felt very confident and comfortable that this is very high quality product. It was well packaged, very easy to install, and went into operation very smoothly. Bluetooth connection worked fine. The App appears to be very versatile. It's really a great product and many thanks to the manufacturer, seller, and Amazon!

The 3M tape is easy to remove much better to put the good double tape
