Review: Perfect for the money - Great unit for the money. 3 x 3mp cameras work almost automatically. I really don't know why people are leaving negative teviews, this unit is great, easy to set up and use. Came from a similar unit that was 1080p. Ptz works great on unit and through EMeye. If people can't set this up, maybe someone else should do it or the caneras are not compliant. Works great on my Onvif cameras. Review: Really not worth a star (unless you have a very simple requirement) - HArdware seems to work OK - simple and effective Sadly that is the only good side. Software (notably XMEye) and documentation are terrible! So if all you want to do is use this in your local network then OK - but for remote cloud access via mobiles etc - don't waste your time! ## Features - High Quality Video - Full 5MP video viewing on all 8 channels to capture crystal clear images, support for 5MP/4MP/3MP/1080p ONVIF-Conformance ip cameras. - H.265+ Advanced Compression Technology - Increase bandwidth and storage efficiency. ### ⭐ Really not worth a star (unless you have a very simple requirement) *by A***R on 24 June 2019* HArdware seems to work OK - simple and effective Sadly that is the only good side. Software (notably XMEye) and documentation are terrible! So if all you want to do is use this in your local network then OK - but for remote cloud access via mobiles etc - don't waste your time! ### ⭐⭐ Poor quality and user interface. But for the price it is what it is. *by K***M on 2 September 2019* Sadly 2 stars for this due to quality. Service was reasonable of a bit slow otherwise would of been one star. Bought this after having issues with the YESKAMO NVR which wouldn’t connect to my wireless cameras. Figured if I have to use the wired camera network no point in over spending. Got this and at start looked good. Very reasonable price wise. Sadly that’s all the positives. Tried to open it up to install hard drive but 2 of the screws where so tight they wouldn’t unscrew. Contacted the customer service and they told me to use a screwdriver and it should unscrew. As you can see by the pic this wasn’t the case. Told them and they weren’t very helpful at first telling me to take it to a repair centre for a £10 partial refund. Took it down and they wanted £25 to safely remove both jammed screws. Wasn’t going to keep it but then they had already processed a refund of £30 before I could tell them I was going to return it. The unit cost me £35 so for £5 I wasn’t going to mess around. Just kept it as a back up and will have to figure out how to open it if I ever do end up using it. The interface is also a bit basic compared to other brands. But you get what you pay for I guess ## Frequently Bought Together - Seculink 16-Channel 4K/8MP Network Video Recorder 3840x2160P Ultra HD NVR Cloud P2P Remote Access Motion Alert (No Built-in WiFi) - Seculink 16-Channel 4K NVR (1080p/3MP/4MP/5MP/8MP) Ultra HD Network Video Recorder Cloud P2P Remote Access Motion Alert (No Built-in WiFi) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/326775217-8-channel-4mp-5mp-network-video-recorder-2k-super-hd](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/326775217-8-channel-4mp-5mp-network-video-recorder-2k-super-hd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
