Even tho it tunes well, the screen itself on mine, the G looks like a C with a tail. It does not look like the pictured G displayed in the product description. I am using it for a violin. All the strings sound totally tuned properly. I only give this a 4 star rating because of the G looking like a C and because it wasnt as sensitive to plucking the string while tuning. I had to pluck harder than usual.

It works well. I got it for my son who plays banjo and is learning fiddle, guitar and cello. It works for all of them.

I mean it’s alright. It works but sometimes it shows other letters like in my case when I play g (on viola) it shows low c and I don’t know why but it just glitches out like that a little and it is also plastic so it doesn’t seem durable. But I mean what do you excpect for 20 bucks. I mean it might last me half a year max. Could get 5 stars if it was rechargeable and also extremely accurate. It is accurate but sometimes it says it’s sharp or flat when it’s not

Love this tuner for my violin. I can put it on just tuning hor the continuous mode that registers each note. Since I’m new to the instrument I use it to make sure my fingers on on the right notes. Use to use. Easy to read and adjust my placement for correction. Easy to set up. Easy to turn on and off. Fits well below the scroll around my D/A string pegs. I’m also using the Trala app that I live and it’s helping learn at my pace. Very user friendly. The app and the tuner work well together. Would buy again. I was using my phone app but I wanted to be able to have my head in the right direction while holding the violin and read the music. The phone was getting in the way too much.

It works, but it’s a real pain to set up. The battery cover has a tiny little screw that holds it in place (better keep a screwdriver in your instrument case. And immediately upon trying to take the screw out, the head stripped out as the screw was very very tight, had to use a pair of pliers to even get the screw to come out (thank god there was enough there to get my pliers on, and use a little square of tape to keep the battery cover on afterwards as the screw was demolished from removal. It will function for now, but when it fails, I will be looking for a new solution

Very good for tuning the violin.

Fonctionne bien , facile, mais trouver le bon endroit pour le fixer sur le violon n’est pas évident pour qu’il tienne bien.

It has a groove on one side to fit the peg, but it slips off the peg on the other side. I tried to drill a hole to fix this, now it won't turn on. dicky little battery screw is a pain.
