if you have a tall fence that latches from the outside, you need one of these
The gate latch pull took fifteen minutes to install. A very simple design that works well. Made mostly of plastic, but will probably hold up longer in the weather. Looks much better than my wire and eye-screw set up!

top quality
it's a shame it's not easy to find in UK, delivery was not included in prime and cost almost as much as the latch. Still the latch is top quality. I would recommend to anyone.

Functions really well!
I was having trouble using a regular string to unlatch our gate latch. Anytime I pull on the string, it would snag, causing the gravity latch not to go down, so I have to manually pull it down again just so the latch will lock once I close the gate. I am glad I found this device, which solved my issue. It is very easy to install, though I had to figure out how to orient the part that screws on to the latch correctly. There is a spring that goes inside the hole in the post and that makes the latch to automatically reset once you pull on the nice and elegant looking knob. It looks very durable and I intend to buy one for our other fence gate. Highly recommended!
