Saved Me Hundreds on a Broken CR-V Mirror
I bought this after doing some online research when my son accidentally broke the passenger-side mirror on my new 2026 Honda CR-V. The electronics, glass, and adjustment functions were still working perfectly, but the rotation/base area of the mirror had become loose, and I really did not want to spend around $300โ$400 replacing the complete mirror assembly for one damaged section. I tried other products first without success, so I decided to give the J-B Weld Plastic Bonder a shot. I was honestly impressed. After applying it to the damaged area and holding everything in the correct position, within roughly 7 minutes the mirror already felt solid with practically no movement. For this type of repair, the bond feels extremely strong. Application is pretty straightforward, especially with the dual syringe that dispenses both components together. My main recommendation is to protect the surrounding area with painterโs tape before applying it. If you squeeze the syringe too aggressively, more product can come out than expected, and this stuff is definitely something you donโt want spreading over painted or visible surfaces. For me, this turned what could have been a several-hundred-dollar repair into a very inexpensive DIY fix. The syringe is also resealable, so I can keep the remaining product for another repair. Pros: Strong bond, sets quickly, easy to mix and apply, works well on automotive plastic, inexpensive compared with replacing the whole part, and reusable. Minor caution: Control the syringe carefully because it can dispense more adhesive than you need. Overall, this was a very impressive repair product and absolutely worth trying before replacing an expensive plastic automotive component that is otherwise still functional.

Strong, Reliable, and Easy to Use โ A Must-Have for Auto Repairs!
The J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe has become a staple in my garage for automotive and household repairs. Hereโs why Iโm giving it a 5-star review: 1. Incredible Bonding Strength: This adhesive is extremely strong and has proven to hold up well under pressure. I used it to repair a cracked plastic body panel on my car, and it created a bond that felt just as strong as the original plastic. Whether youโre fixing bumpers, body panels, or other plastic components, this adhesive will keep them firmly in place. 2. Easy to Apply: The 25ml syringe is a convenient and easy-to-use applicator. Itโs precise, which means no mess or waste. The mixing ratio is simple, and once you combine the resin and hardener, itโs ready to go. The syringe applicator allows for targeted application, so I could apply it exactly where I needed it without spilling. 3. Quick Curing Time: I was pleasantly surprised by the fast curing time. It only takes about 15 minutes to set, and full strength is achieved in a few hours. Itโs perfect for quick fixes that donโt require hours of waiting. I was able to complete my repair and get back to driving without much downtime. 4. Versatile and Multi-Purpose: Not only is this great for automotive repairs, but itโs also perfect for other projects around the house. Iโve used it for plastic, fiberglass, and even metal repairs, and it holds up incredibly well. The bond is weather-resistant, which is a huge plus for outdoor or exposed repairs. 5. Durable and Long-Lasting: Once it cures, the bond is strong and durable. I havenโt had any issues with the adhesive breaking down or losing its strength, even after exposure to heat, cold, and moisture. Itโs holding up incredibly well on the body panel I fixed, and Iโm confident it will last for the long term. 6. Works as a Gap Filler: Another standout feature is its ability to act as a gap filler. The product fills in gaps between parts, which helps create a smooth, even surface once it dries. This is great for automotive bodywork, where filling in small cracks or gaps is necessary for a seamless repair. Final Thoughts: The J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe is a game-changer when it comes to repairing plastic components. Itโs strong, fast, and easy to use. Iโve used it for a number of projects and have always been impressed with the results. If youโre looking for a reliable adhesive for plastic repairs, this is the one you need. ๐ฏ Highly recommend! 5 stars for sure!

Feels like hard plastic- Keep finding uses for it.
I was replacing windshield wiper refills and one of the plastic covers cracked in a few pieces. Since it was just the cover part and the wiper still worked fine and i still have a bunch or blade refills i decided to try and fix the cracked cover. I bought this 2 part epoxy since its black in color and its outdoor use. It mixes up easy but it gets everywhere. I was wearing disposable gloves thankfully or my hands would have been covered. I was working with small broken pieces so just couldnt avoid not touching the epoxy. It sets up pretty fast. The mixed epoxy seems to start setting up right after mixing. It gets hot too. I only mixed a small amount each time to have longer to work with it. Seems to cure solid. Sticks to everything. I used a little too much and had trouble fitting the wiper back on the arm so had to sand some down. It sanded easily with a metal file. Hopefully it lasts along time and doesnt break down in the sun. I'll update if theres any issues with it. - Update: Found another use for this epoxy. Theres a small plastic bracket inside the bottom of my cars front bumper that was loose and rattling around. I finally got around to seeing what it was exactly. Looks like it had broken off, im guessing since the bottom of the bumper is so low to the ground I must have hit a curb. The bracket is normally held to the bumper cover with a rivet and since i dont own a rivet tool I figured i can install a nut and bolt instead. The problem is when the bracket is fit onto the inside if the bumper theres no way to reach around to put the nut on, probably why a rivet was used. I used this epoxy to install the nut on so it doesnt move. It ended up working great. I cleaned the plastic really well with rubbing alcohol then sanded it a little to roughen up the surface with a small metal file. I had to hold the nut with my finger while inserting the small bolt, mixed up a small amount of the epoxy then poured it all around the nut. Carefull not to get any epoxy on the bolt so I could unscrew it back out so I can then install it on the bumper. I let it cure for a few hours just to be sure. Was able to fix it for the cost of a nut and bolt. And I still have plenty of the epoxy left for other things.

JB Weld Makes Excellent Products
If JB Weld makes it โฆ.. It will perform as advertised. Notice each adhesive product package they produce boldly publishes its strength, application, compatible materials, and other important specifications right where you can read it? I like that. No guessing - the company is direct & honest. I keep multiple tubes of their โoriginal cold weld epoxyโ on hand in my garage as a staple - just in case a repair is needed or a project requires some of those โspecialโ modifications. No other competitors rival their level of performance - when it comes to quality, strength, or overall satisfaction with any cold weld goops. This product I am currently reviewing is from that same vein of chemical genius- folks who understand what the average worker runs into - and the needs of those who are always striving for perfection. I needed a fairly fast setting adhesive that could bond a metal bracket to the plastic of an automotive grille. I had to mount two brackets that hold a pair of sensors. Each sensor had to be precisely positioned, look like the OEM put it there, and held extremely secure. The goop had to be black in color - to blend in with the grille - (so I would not have to repaint it). Well I first used a โdotโ of JB Weldโs clear super glue to immediately hold the two mounts in their exact positions. Then after a couple minutes I used the plastic weld to add the fillets and smooth seams I wanted to guarantee strength. It worked excellent. The mounts look fantastic, even up close. And the sensors are held very stable, both are rigidly held in perfect positioning, as required. It is great to be able to read the productโs exterior packaging and KNOW you can now select the proper product required. JB Weld gives just the facts that you need - No BS. So YES - I do recommend their products. They have earned my trust through many years by producing affordable quality adhesives, epoxies, and lubricants. If you can read, and follow instructions - you too will be satisfied.

Very strong, fast curing, and reliable for rigid repairs
This plastic bonder worked very well for fixing a broken part on my scooterโs steering area. It created a very strong and durable bond, and now the part feels like it is back to its original condition. Effectiveness: Excellent. It holds strongly on rigid surfaces and performs as described. Curing time: Started hardening in about 30 minutes and became fully solid after leaving it overnight. Thickness: Thick consistency, which makes it easy to control and good for filling gaps without dripping. Application: Clean and simple with the dual-syringe design, no leakage issues. Odor: Noticeable chemical smell during use, but manageable with ventilation. Size: 25 ml is enough for small to medium repairs and feels efficient. Final thoughts: Very strong adhesive with fast setting time and reliable performance. Great choice for rigid plastic repairs and definitely recommended.

Seemed to work on GM door panel material
The used truck I bought had a melted usb cable in one of the door pockets. Maybe there was more to it but there was definitely a usb cable embedded in the door panel too. As I scraped out the glob, the bottom of the panel cracked and I ordered this to try and repair it. A thick coat on the back side of the panel seemed to work. Obviously time will tell if it holds up but it did seem to bond to the plastic in the panel.

Did Exactly What I Needed
I used this to repair a refrigerator shelf which attaches via a plastic hook. The hook broke off. I used this to repair and re-attach. 48 hours after application, it's holding the shelf up and is load bearing. Exactly what I wanted. Follow the instructions closely.

Be ready to hold the pieces together for up to 6 to 8 minutes. I held it for 8 minutes.
It worked GREAT, I had a loose panel on my truck. I cleaned the panel and base, followed the directions and it worked great. I have put 7K miles on my truck since using this product. I still have a bunch left over and it seems to be able to be used again, I have not tried yet! It takes about 6-8 minutes to set.
