Been swimming with this for several weeks now. Love it! there have been some comments about the screw attach clamp, but really--just tighten it down and the snorkel pretty much will stay where you want it.For folks who have experience using a diving mask and snorkel (which I used for laps before I got this), there is just a minor update required for your brain since your nostrils are now exposed to the water. Takes a minute or two, but not an issue. I find that when I swim using this snorkel, I will choose to exhale through my nose periodically, especially after turns. I don't do flip turns, so that could complicate matters if trying to clear the nose and snorkel. When you do any type of stroke with your hands coming out of the water (butterfly, crawl), you may notice that water will splash in the tube requiring a good exhale through the snorkel periodically to clear the water.Other than that, super pleased with this purchase!

I do club swimming and this works great for practice

In my past experiences with a snorkel, limited as they are, the side mount was always a problem. I kept getting water in my mouth because my tube would go under the surface. I have had NO problems with this using the OMID. Also, the one-way vent at the bottom has helped when I purposely go under water. I don't have to reply on my breath to vacate the tube.

Has a nice soft headband but a really gross crap snorkel
