Boingo Baby Cloth Diaper Fastener, Blue

Boingos work great! I have used pins and snappis but have settled on Boingos as my preferred way to keep a prefold diaper on. They grip very well and are super simple to use. I like that there is no strap around baby's waist and you can adjust them easily.

Love these fasteners - used Snappis for the first 6 months but really felt that they put too much pressure on the lower abdomen since they have that piece that pulls tight across the middle. Once we switched to these we never went back! Takes just a few tries to get the hang of stretching and hooking them on snugly, but then they are super easy. We use a diaper service so the diapers are switched out weekly, so I can't speak to whether consistent use of these on the same diapers would put holes in the diapers, but I've never noticed them to cause any tears/holes. A single pair of Boingos has lasted us a full year before finally breaking down the middle, that's pretty impressive! We are exclusive cloth diaper users, so these are basically in action 24/7. Happy to be buying a second pair.

Love everything about them, but keep in mind if you have prefolds, preflats, or flats they only go across the top causing the middle to dip depending on the size of the diaper. I have some diapers that the formers overlap and I can use one to hold the sides together and the middle will start to sag without a cover but if I use a smaller size diaper I need two clips and it will help hold the middle up.

Like these better than the Snappis. Work much better for my chubby son

I do really like this diaper fastener. It works well and is easy to use. The only reason I marked it down is because there isn't enough space around the teeth to grab and I've managed to draw blood 3 times while putting a diaper on my baby. Thankfully, it was my blood, but if it should slip, it would really do some damage to a baby. I'll use occasionally caution, but I'll stick with my Snappi for sure.

They're OK, I guess. I got these in white just to try something different than the snappi. I'm not impressed. They're really hard to get tension on, my son moves a lot and his boingos are barely in place when I take off his diaper cover. There's nothing to grab on to so they're difficult to place properly, and to have to keep track of two fasteners when all my energy is devoted to keeping my son in place for the 60 seconds it takes to change his diaper is an unnecessary challenge. I'll keep trying to get these to work, but I'm going to order some more Snappi's, too!

I happen to like using snappis but my wife likes these much better. I say, get and try both. These have super grippy teeth. They are great on my GMD fitted diapers because I only need 1 to close them. They will probably be best on a larger baby because on my skinny baby they kind of overlap but overall these are well made and a good addition to cloth diaper prefolds. Wish they were a bit cheaper or came in packages of 2 sets
