Good book. Too bad the book arrived damaged.

First off, Hajime Sorayama is a fantastic artist and I was a excited to get a book full of his robot people, the way he does metal is killer. This book is pretty good overall, theres some full pages photos, then some slightly smaller ones and then some really tiny ones. So when it says over 1000 pics its true but a lot of them are very small so they can fill up a page with a bunch of small pictures. So that was kind of disappointing because some of my favorites of his were kinda tiny to look at. Also something I hadn't seen in an artbook until this one was a few pages filled with nothing but a bunch of small images of close ups such as lips or eyes.Even though I like his art I was hoping this book didnt have a lot of his more erotic art but it does so be warned this book has nudity and sexual imagery, some bondage and piercing stuff too.There is a really cool section that shows his process, behind the scenes of him working on a piece of art and that was fun. There's kind of an odd section of robot animals. There's also work from some of his collaborations with companies and pop culture.Theres some pencil work on the last few pages and and interview with him (I think) but it's in Japanese.Overall I think its worth the price and its an interesting book to have, wish it was more focused on the actual robots and had more larger pictures of them but I still like it.Also it says oversized, I was expecting it to be bigger but its only about 8.25 by 11.5 inches big.

First off- there are adult images in this book lol. I'm a fan of Hajime Sorayama's work so I was pleased to find a physical book. My copy came without any major damage- maybe a small scuff on the spine but that was the most noticeable thing. Recommended if you like to look at metal women.

Great remake of an old book; absolutely fab.

これまでの空山ワールドの集大成ともいうべき一冊。デッサンから完成までのメイキング過程も公開。都築響一氏との対談も興味深いです。

作品点数が多く、メイキングの記事もあって値段の割には盛りだくさんの内容化と思います。ただし、過去の画集に掲載されている作品をまとめてあるようなので、ほかにも画集を持ってる方からするとちょっと不満のある内容かもしれません。私は空山さん入門として購入したので、結構満足しました。
