Is this positively, negatively, or neutrally buoyant? If you drop it in water, does it sink?

Hello, This item does float in the water however it doesn't work well enough to float with someone attached to it. It is neutrally buoyant.

I'm 6 feet 2 inches tall, I wear a size XL shirt but I have a 48 inch chest, will this still fit?

Hello, This fin fits up do an Adult Xl so this should work for you.

Can you use while wearing a life jacket?

Thank you for your recent email. The Shark Fin is worn like a backpack would be, with straps that strap to the shoulders and around the back of the wearer. Just so you are aware the shark fin is not a flotation device. Even though the straps are adjustable, but we do not recommend wearing both together. I hope this information has been helpful. Thank you again for shopping with Amazon and Fin Fun Mermaid.

My son is a husky 8 year old. He can swim, only wants this for looks… he wears a small in mens tshirts. Would it fit him?

Bought this for my son who is 6. It fits him as well as me (5'7" 170lbs). Straps are fully adjustable. one arm through each side and a clip across the chest
