I really like the wide base of the holder. I have many large, 22 oz coffee mugs and most bases aren't wide enough. This one is perfect. I like that the basket is separate from the holder. So much easier to clean and less opportunity for breakage compared to others. The mesh of the basket allows for brewing a great cup of coffee with no ground residue whatsoever. And no more paper filters! Nice and portable, I can take this wherever I want and make a cup of coffee to my liking (I like to mix two different flavored beans). The instructions for use were comprehensive and quite complete. Shipping was fast. I'd definitely recommend!

Just got this today and I used it immediately. I grind coffee beans myself at home using a Magic bullet which grinds well but has a mix of grinds from super fine to course. I do not use course grinds as I like a stronger coffee. The fine mesh liner inside is truly fine and my home ground coffee left NO sediment at the bottom of the pot. See attached picture for how clear the last few drops are! I get this result only with paper filters but for the first time, I got the same result using a steel pour over filter. I also felt that all the flavors of my coffee were intact, making it a very enjoyable experience. I drink coffee 3 times a day and plan to use this a lot. I hope the quality is as good as advertised and will post an update in a few months.

As a coffee lover/drinker I'm very particular and this pour over drip filter works beautifully. Double screens insure no sediment, flavor integrity and clean taste to coffee. Filter separates from stand for easy cleaning. Well made parts (sturdy). The only critique I would have is the filter handle is small and (obviously) made of stainless steel, hence, gets a bit hot to the touch - but not a problem.This replaces a previous filter with plastic and requires no additional, wasteful paper filters. Highly recommend.

This is a great solution to using a coffeemaker to make 2 cups. We use 16oz mugs, but only my son drinks coffee and I love that this is easy to use and clean. There are great directions for doing it correctly (which is not just pour water and forget it- you do it in stages but it doesnt take long). I had to get used to not throwing out the grounds within a filter, but in the end I spend less time than cleaning a carafe, lid and filter holder. I like not adding waste (filters). I use a small rubber spatula to scoop out the grounds and wash immediately after use.I wish the holder had a small lip, but it is fairly secure resting on the top of the mug.

I'm an old soul and I can't find myself to purchase the new craze of K cup coffee makers but I do enjoy just one cup of coffee now and then. So without having to make a whole pot, I purchased this. LOVE it and I'm calling it my "vintage K cup" coffe brewer. It smells heavenly when you're making a cup of coffee, especially in the evening using a decaf fusion blend from Eight o'clock coffee that they have out now. Enjoy and it's so worth it. Made really well, cleans so easily.

Original still true review below.My wonderful Brewfuze came apart after 2.5 years of impeccable service.I wanted to contact the manufacturer with pictures for fun because I am still using it.But when a product is from what Amazon identifies as a “Small Business” , that product is not only exclusive to Amazon, but the manufacturer does not exist - no public profile, no location, nothing.The Bruzefuze pamphlet- a real keeper as I’ve noted - has zero information.I’m curious about the nature of these “Small Businesses” and/or the contracts which created/disappeared them.—————-original review————Besides its elegantly practical design and truly wonderful mesh combination, what set this apart from the many others I have tried is the best set of instructions for pour-over coffee I have ever read.My completely unfair trial run was with *Old, Ground months ago, Decaf coffee*, reverse osmosis filtered water, and I used the scoop, not a scale.Believe it or not, it bloomed! The result was a clear, grounds-free, with very little aroma.Taken black, it was flat but not bitter. A spot of cream produced a healthy brown and a surpringly inoffensive late nite cup.Looking forward to my first *real* cup tomorrow & everafter.Confident because the rave reviews are all about flavor, and all come from folks who either knew how to prepare a pour over cup, or followed the guidelines..................For the record:The Complaints aren't about flavor, but Design :"Should have more heft""Is very thin""Should be all one piece"Or were addressed in the (unread?) Instructions.... ;-)

I bought this for work as I do 25 hour shifts. I needed something portable that I could bring with each week. This pour over works great for me.
