I bought these as an upgrade to my existing simple screw clamps for use with my project of installing kitchen cabinets. I am really glad I did because these clamps proved to be very helpful in my task. Below are my observations from use:Pros1. Very easy to use - you can collapse the clamp and tighten with a single hand which was helpful hanging cabinets2. Easy to release to remove the clamp when finished3. End caps on the clamping surface are provided to prevent marring of the pieces being joined - definitely a must have feature when used on finished cabinets4. Unlike my simple clamps these can be used to function as both a clamp or expander. Though I have yet to use it as an expander I can anticipate future projects where this dual function will come in handy.5. The addition of an indicator that shows you the clamping force is a nice feature but frankly I tighten as much as I can just to be safe and not to a target force plus the limit for these heavy duty clamps is quite high. This feature would however be more useful if you bought a light duty model with a much lower clamping force limit where your hand strength could break the clamp6. As you should be able to expect from a major brand vs a generic, the product was of high quality and made of good materials that should give you years of use. This combined with all the useful features makes it a good value even though a little more expensive than the generic options available.Cons - None that I have found to date but if I do find one I will update this review.Overall I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. In fact, I was so pleased with how well this clamp worked that I have already bought another pair in a different length.

Great clamps, strong holding power and it does not slip. Pricey but definitely worth it.

As a professional remodeling contractor I can't believe it took me so long to stumble upon these quality clamps. After trying/owning several different makes of this style clamp (DeWalt, Irwin, Quick-Clamp, Wolfcraft) the phrase "you get what you pay for" springs to mind. Sure these are a little pricey but the quality and ease of use is head and shoulders above the rest, and it's important to have tools that be relied upon without complication or complaint when in the thick of a frustrating remodel. Just wish I hadn't bought the 2 pack when this morning I realized a 4 pack is only $1.50 more, which sucks but no fault of the tool. The 3/4" shaft fits perfectly in benches with 3/4" bench dog holes. Squeeze handles and release lever are the most ergonomic I've found. Reversible end removes and and reinstalls with ease and confidence. 300 pound clamping pressure from a squeeze clamp is best in class, and it's obvious this tool is built to handle it. Lock together feature on the clamps I received needed a little spray lube and some dead blow "persuasion" to put together and take apart but I don't anticipate using that function a lot even though it does appear to work well and is very innovative. This is NOT a light duty 6" clamp, in fact the only caution I'd relay to prospective buyers is these heavy duty clamps are bulky and may just be too large or overkill for more delicate applications. Expect a tool that can take some serious job site abuse and keep on smiling. As others have said, I highly recommend.
