The ease and bang for your buck
I can not believe how much comes with the filters. To extend the life of cartridge they give you 3 screens plus one on the filter mark your calendar to change screen every 3 months and annually for filter. Best bang for your buck.

Has chemical odor
Fits my Alen air cleaner but has a strange chemical smell. I thought it would gas off and it is way less than when I first put it in. Still slightly there. I will buy from Alen in the future.

Half the price. But less than half the airflow of the original
Filter fit good so I give it one star for that. However, airflow was less than half of what my old original dirty filter was when I removed it and installed this one. I decided even though it seemed to be less airflow, I would give it a shot for a while to see if the dust in the air was eliminated like it was with the original Alen filter.After less than a month of use I began to notice dust settling on things like it had prior to purchasing the Alen purifier new. I just received my new replacement filter direct from Alen and there is a night and day difference from this filter. I did notice that the original Alen filter does not have the honeycomb back on it and is the same on both sides. Maybe this variable has something to do with the issue.The Alen is definitely more expensive than this filter. But I believe the saying you get what you pay for sums up this particular purchase and will stick with the original filters from here on out.

Does Not Fit Alen Breathe smart
They misinform about the air purifiers in which these filters are compatible with, Do not buy just order fron the company in which you purchased your air purifier , may be more expense ,but it will fit and last.

The filters are great, and can be vacuumed. I keep my air cleaner on 24/7.
So simple to install, great value for your money.
