purchased to help rehab an injury. this is definitely more expensive than the other options. in fact i think you can get the full set for the price of just this one. BUT this is the one the therapist was using so this is what I went with. so far it works just fine and I'm not disappointed.

Using to recover from dislocated elbow. Works well. Squeaks, but they all do.

Well made & fits my purpose

If you require physical therapy or rehabilitation of hand and fingers, this is an excellent product. No that the line has multiple resistances available and it’s good value for the money.

The unit itself is constructed well, but the ergonomic base (the part that fits into your palm) is of such poor quality that the rubberized coating began to flake away just a few weeks after I received it. This is not the case for my Gripmaster, which I have had for many years. Fortunately, I can take the cover off the the GM and put it on this one, but I shouldn't have to do that.

I was told to purchase this by my physiotherapist. Within 3 weeks my hand strength increased from 9lb to 14lb. It's easy to use and comes with a set of exercises which are far more in depth than the physio gives you. A great item and you can purchase the next weight up once you're stronger.

I had this thing for two weeks only, and in that time I could very obviously feel an improvement in my hand strength. My sister was visiting, and she's had some troubles with her fingers, and she picked the thing up and started working it. I told her she could keep it, as it was no longer strong enough for me and I was going to upgrade anyway. She's reported that it's nearly cured several of her finger/wrist issues. Pretty amazing, really.
