I use it on my treadmill belts twice a year. **Q: How many hours does each application last?** A: Horizon recommended 1/2 a bottle every six months, I was using my treadmill everyday minimum 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Hope this helped. **Q: Is there any reason I can't just take the silicon lubricant that I have in the garage and get the job done?** A: It must be 100% silicone. Many silicon products have other ingredients in them that will cause damage to your belt and possibly other parts of your treadmill. If you look at the one in your garage I bet you will find it is not 100% silicone but has other ingredients. Theresa M. **Q: What is the best / safest way to open the bottles? I tried a different brand because of the bottle and I regret it. Pipe / wire cutters?** A: For bottle ends like this and caulking tubes, I use wire cutters / diagonal pliers, or pruning shears (the anvil type is best but any should work). Scissors don't work well. Knives can be dangerous. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Muy buen producto *by M***O on 1 September 2023* Fácil de aplicar ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top quality silicon lubricant for your treadmill *by S***T on 10 March 2025* Top quality lube for use in your treadmill. No more squeaks. Did the job on my ancient ex-gym treadmill no maintenance services in the area. Got the manual off the internet realised I needed US Allan keys not metric and did it myself. I have enough of this for the next 140 years. ## Frequently Bought Together - Horizon Fitness Silicone Treadmill Belt Lubricant - SEKODAY Silicone Treadnmill Belt Lubricants/Lubes, High Temperature Resistant and Stable Lubricant, with Hard Application Tubes and Precision Screw Caps for Easy Use - Marcy Fitness Equipment Mat and Floor Protector Compatible for Treadmills, Elliptical, Exercise Bikes, Stationary Cycles and Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/326125975-horizon-fitness-silicone-treadmill-belt-lubricant](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/326125975-horizon-fitness-silicone-treadmill-belt-lubricant) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
