Great for breadboarding and prototyping
These are a great product if you need to breadboard an audio project. Also a very nice way to get a reliable connector for your o-scope, rather than fraying out a cable.

Only 3 pins really
These are handy when you want to use headphones or whatever. But, the "Ring 2" pin is not connected so you won't be able to use microphones. Only stereo audio.

Once you solder in the pins, it is perfect for a breadboard. I am using it for some Arduino experiments. It works great.

I re-purposed these audio jacks
I used a CT to measure AC mains current on a device, the clamp has a 3.5mm jack on one end and using this PCB I was able to use the sensor to read the voltage on an ADC that the CT produced which was proportional to the current flow. They probably work fine for their intended use too! lol
