This is a super fun game. It’s educational too. Great for young and old. Fast paced so it doesn’t require a long commitment to play. You can even determine how many rounds. Nice design. Letters are big for aging eyes. Warning, if you’re good at it, no one will want to play with you.

Fun game for the whole family great to get people off screens

I had made this purchase and then went back through and read the reviews and started to get a little nervous because of the experience that some other individuals experienced however, when I received my game, each piece was painted beautifully. There were no rough edges and the case that holds all of them was crafted sturdy and strong overall, I give this game a 10 out of 10 and I’m extremely happy with my purchase

When I posted on my Facebook page that my husband and I were having difficulty deciding which of our old games we would play that evening, one of my friends suggested this game. My friend is a well educated psychiatrist and I respect her opinion, so I found the game and ordered it right away. It arrived the next day, my husband and I immediately played it and we're hooked! The letters are large enough for our senior eyes and every game is a different experience, so that keeps us interested. The included hourglass is fine, but we found it distracting to take our eyes away from the game to check on how much time we had left, so it went back in the box and out came my cell phone clock timer. But using the included hourglass or any other timer you have doesn't make a big difference. It's a fun game, packaged well and makes you think!

I have been playing Big Boggle for years. It had been discontinued for several years and my old set, after being used consistently over the years, had started to wear. For Xmas a couple of years ago, my husband bought me a new set from Ebay for an outrageous $75 new. When I saw that they had reintroduced Big Boggle, I bought two additional sets. Big Boggle is an addictive word game. While it is touted as a bigger version of regular Boggle and you can find bigger words of four letters or more, the reality is that you can come up with some huge words without reusing letters. Confirmed Boggle-maniacs will tell you that at times you can find yourself thinking about words and whether you've encountered them before on the gameboard. While I've noticed that this is a great game for anyone who thinks their memory is going and it definitely stretches a person's word knowledge and spelling skills, it also really helps kids with their spelling skills and vocabulary. My kids started out with regular Boggle and moved up to Big Boggle. Being competitive helped, but it did a great job reinforcing what they learned from a variety of subjects and improved their visual coordination.

Fun game and good size letters

Our family has had the "original" boggle for years and have enjoyed it. Thought this would be fun to have with the advantage of building bigger words and it hasn't disappointed! There is also an option to add an extra cube. We haven't had any problems as some other reviewers have had with letters smudging, cubes chipped, or timers that get stuck. The quality is good, in fact better than our regular (4 cubes across) one purchased many years ago. The cubes are the same in size and quality, but the dome that fits over is quieter when mixing up the letters. It's a great family game, if you love word games, for all ages. The adults can play using only four or more letter words to score and our little ones can play along getting points for all their three letter words and occasionally knocking our bigger words out :) We thoroughly enjoy the Big Boggle. After playing we've all decided that the 5x5 grid is perfect - the Bigger Boggle, 6x6, would be overkill and annoying.
