GEM Sound GM16 Handheld Wireless/Wired Microphone

If you are looking for a really good wireless mic - just move along and keep looking cuz there's nothing to see(hear) here. Connected it to the mixer and there was some type of weird sound like trying to find a station on an AM radio. However, it really works very well as a wired mic. I would have given it 5 stars if the cable that came with it wasn't broken. I used a spare cable that i had and it worked perfectly. They really should advertised as wired not wireless.

I am using this as my first mic (with the kids or small events) vs secondary mic because if these break...I won't! The range on these doesn't go very far, but I'm using them on my other cordless mic's signal (allowing the other mic to rest) so, I guess it does go pretty far. Sound is OK for the price, by that I mean at times, I have to turn down the music in order to hear (when I tested it at an outdoor event). It looks and feels great, heavy, tough and handles well...something you want in a mic. If your at home, a clubhouse, office or just want you or your little ones to Karaoke without worrying who broke it later, than this is for you. Big events indoor or out may not work for you...It didn't for me.
