Review: Beautiful Pilate, Runs Soooooo Smooth !!! - If you love exercising with a pilate machine, I found this machine to be one of the best. It has a very smooth glide to it and the springs make it much more quieter than a machine with the cords. I owned a top of the line reformer pilate machine but gave it away when I moved across country. I replaced it with this one and I'm super happy I did. Especially because this one has the steel springs instead of the cords. The springs appear to have more resistance than my last pilate reformer with the cords. This is a beautiful piece of exercise equipment. The wood on it is gorgeous. I'm not going to go into all the pro's about this machine because you can read all about how wonderful this aero pilates reformer is at this site. But I will say this. This machine sits 15 inches off the floor and it makes all the difference in the world. My other aero pilates was only raised 10" off the ground with the stand. It was a very nice machine, but I never did like the fact that it was so low to the ground. This Stamina Aero Pilate has my other machine beat by far just for the fact that it sits higher off the ground. It makes it so much easier to get off it. To me, it is worth the entire price of this machine. If you are a little older like me, you will really appreciate the height of this one. One last thing for those who are looking to buy a pilate machine. This machine is very heavy, sturdy, and is quality....It will give you years and years of home use. It is more expensive than other machines, but well worth it. The minute you get on this one, you will immediately be able to tell the difference between this one and a cheaper model. This one is much smoother. It does take some time to assemble it. I had a friend of mine put it together. He didn't have any problems at all with it. Not one. It is just time consuming. The finish product is beautiful. It does take up a large space, so make sure you do have the space for it. Read the specs on it. Honestly, because it's such a gorgeous piece of workout equipment, it's a pleasure doing my pilates! Review: Fantastic - Fantastic. I do Pilates at a studio with reformers that cost $3000 plus. The AreoPilates Pro Reformer is very well made and perfect for home use. ## Features - HOME PILATES REFORMER - The AeroPilates Pro XP 557 Reformer provides an elegant system for returning to total health. The Blue Spring has a resistance of 7-28 lbs, and the yellow Spring has a resistance of 9-39 lbs. Each spring is measured by minimum resistance at 15" stretch and 30" for the maximum. So the maximum resistance possible is 134 lbs at full stretch. **Q: when setting up the reformer, how far away from the walls should you set up the reformer?** A: I would get on it on your back and stretch your legs out wide to the side. Get your self enough clearance that you can reach but not touch your walls. That will give enough room then to do the "feet in straps" movements properly **Q: How long is the cushion you lay on?** A: My husband is 5'11" and he is fine, but there are measurements. Some machines have longer cushions than others **Q: Can someone please tell me where I can purchase replacement wheels for the reformer?** A: You can purchase through "Service" at www.staminaproducts.com, or call 1-800-375-7520. Thank you! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Pilate, Runs Soooooo Smooth !!! *by T***E on 16 February 2017* If you love exercising with a pilate machine, I found this machine to be one of the best. I do Pilates at a studio with reformers that cost $3000 plus. The AreoPilates Pro Reformer is very well made and perfect for home use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with the reformer and customer service *by D***L on 23 June 2024* About the construction: I will admit that it took me half the day to put this together! Make sure you have a helper because man, this reformer is heavy. Amazon delivery was awesome, they brought it indoors to the hallway and I opened the box to bring each piece upstairs. Everything was accounted for down to the last screw. Instructions were laborious but they were very clear and came with diagrams. The completed reformer is 8' long and incredibly heavy so put it together where you want it vs. trying to move it. I had an issue with the piping that holds the foot bar - there was a tiny drop of metal on the inside vs. being completely smooth. This meant the foot bar could not be inserted. The Stamina Customer Service team was EXCELLENT. It only took two emails (the 2nd was for me to confirm the part 3) and within a week, I had the new piece which allowed for full construction. About its performance: I'm loving it. I do check the screws each month and at times, I need to tighten which is probably more to my lack of hand strength. The platform glides smoothly and yes, it's a bit loud but I'm so busy focusing on breathing and suckin' in the gut that I barely notice it now. I am a plus sized gal and I feel quite comfortable with the solidness of the reformer. I have been using the reformer for five months now and it gets two thumbs up from me! ## Frequently Bought Together - AeroPilates Pilates Reformer Workout Machine for Home Gym - Up to 300 lbs Weight Capacity - AeroPilates Box & Pole – Pilates Reformer Accessory for Strength, Balance & Flexibility – Includes Support Pole, Strap & Instructional Workout Video – Compatible with Pilates Reformers - AeroPilates Head and Neck Support Pillow - Pilates Cushion Pillow - Add-on Pilates Accessories for AeroPilates Reformers - Pilates Workout for Home Gym Workout --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/325864941-stamina-aeropilates-pro-reformer-with-free-form-cardio-rebounder](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/325864941-stamina-aeropilates-pro-reformer-with-free-form-cardio-rebounder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
