I'm not sure if this truck is water proof, but I would think that it would be water resistant.. There are no exposed wires and the battery covers are screwed down.

Does this come with charger that will plug into a U.S. power wall socket ?

Yes. I got one and it plugged in fine. Takes a while to charge up, a couple of hours. But, my grandson loves it. It powers over grass, up hills, etc.
