No, not directly because of its flashpoint. Indirectly, you can use it by starting a fire with your flint strike fire starters and using the flame to light a lamp wick as you normally would. The great thing about our Ner Mitzvah Paraffin Lamp Oil is that it burns cleanly. It will not produce any soot or any pollutants as it is smoke and odor-free. Perfect for use in lamps, lanterns, torches, and torch-style candlesticks.

How many ounces of smokeless liquid candle paraffin lamp oil would I need for to burn for 25 hours?

I have no idea. I just use mine in a lamp when the power goes out. The last time power was out for two hours and I probably used one ounce or less.

Paraffin lamp oil

The product is very good, no odor. It burns a little longer than expected which was good. My 32 oz bottle did not have a pouring spout just a regular twist open cap so I had to get a small funnel to pour the oil into the globe opening.
