HSS bi-metal hole drilling cutter for smoothly cutting in wood cornhole boards plastic drywall & thin metal The serrated saw teeth of a hole saw are typically set at a 60° angle. This is so that the teeth can “bite” into the material you are cutting. This spring uses stored mechanical energy to eject the slug from the cylindrical saw blade after your hole has been cut. The slots in the cylinder walls of the cutting blade allow chips and dust to escape more easily. Holes clogged with dust are the chief reason for stuck saw blades.

The hole saw is fairly heavy and sharp, cut through many layers very easily, although be very careful using a hole saw of this size in a drill. If it catches, it will lock up. I used a lower drill speed which helped. Pleased with this product.

Great quality large hole saw. Used to cut a hole through a cabin roof to fit a flue for a log burner. The hole saw is fairly heavy and sharp, cut through many layers very easily, although be very careful using a hole saw of this size in a drill. If it catches, it will lock up. I used a lower drill speed which helped. Pleased with this product.
