Received the Barbie and she has not been removed from her box. Still has the plastic on the box itself. The box is a little worn in the bottom corners but nothing that is going to upset my 8 yr old Barbie collector. Very happy

The doll looked wonderful but the box itself was damaged on one corner. The box had no bubble wrap or paper to protect it. I donโt know whether it was damaged in shipment or came like that. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

Damaged Packaging and Visible Defects
I was really disappointed with the condition of the item I received. The packaging arrived visibly damaged and torn, which is already concerning for a collectible item.Unfortunately, the doll itself also has noticeable factory defects. There are marks/discoloration on the dollโs body, and some of the details and finishing do not look clean or properly made. These are not just minor imperfections that are easy to overlook, especially considering the item was purchased as a collectible.I understand that vintage/collectible items may have some imperfections due to age or storage, but the defects on this particular item appear to be manufacturing/quality-control issues rather than normal wear and tear.I was expecting the item to arrive in much better condition based on the listing. Hopefully, the seller can improve their quality checking and packaging before shipping future orders.

Even more beautiful up close.
My late mother started my baby sister collecting Barbie. I started getting them for her after she passed away. This Marilyn Barbie is by far the prettiest one I have ever bought for her. She is going to love me at Christmas. She is 33 years old btw. LOL These dolls are not toys to be played with.

Almost perfect but should have protected front of box better for shipping. The bubble has a small concave thing going on on the bottom third since the shipper obviously would pile other packages on top of this box and add weight on it. Very nice Marilyn face and hair but wasn't the dress more hot pink in the movie?
