The price is great. I think it was $7.99 when I saw it on Amazon. It shipped quickly. Why did I give it 4.5 stars? I know this sounds stupid, but it takes awhile to get it position correctly so it doesn't slide from your chair. I am suffering from bursitis or sciatica, most likely it was caused by my office chair positioning. This type of cushion was recommended to me by people I know who are suffering or have suffered from the same ailment. The cover looks like it removes easily and I think it can be washed. It is providing relief. I do recommend it.

My husband saw how bad I was suffering from a bad side affect of a new medicine the doctor prescribed that gave me a serve case of the runs. I couldn't sit, stand or lay down without pain. To my surprise he ordered a white oblong donut for me. I was sceptical but this one held miracles. It not only allowed me to sit without pain and it was a great relief on my broken tail bone.

Served its purpose perfectly to cradle a fractured tail bone. As others have noted, the pillow case is useless because it's so tight it functions like a trampoline, not a cozy place to rest your broken butt. So, ditch the pillow case, put it in a regular standard case, sit down and wait for your tail bone to heal. Now that my son doesn't need it anymore, the cat has claimed it as a fine place to curl up and nap.
