This is sturdy yarn, true to color. I knitted as a novice knitter with too fine a yarn and with metal needles. To beginners like myself, basic sturdier yarn like this is much easier to work with. It’s easier to knit without your project going lopsided. In other words, you can easily keep the tension consistent so a scarf stays straight! I’d been warned! And took peoples advice and switched to basic plastic knitting needles (Amazon has them if you keep scrolling), and sturdier yarn such as this.P.S. An advantage to buying online here is that should you run out of yarn, it’s likely it will be available, whereas the same yarn you bought two weeks ago on the store shelf might be gone.
