This camera is a great addition to my garage setup. It’s compact, easy to install, and integrates seamlessly with the myQ ecosystem. The video quality is more than sufficient for indoor monitoring, and the night vision performs better than expected. What I really like is the instant notifications — I always know when there’s activity in the garage. The two-way audio is also a nice touch. For the price point, this is a very solid value and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

We have several of these cameras, garage door opener, and the doorbell camera. They all work well together, but they are all the same brand. I do not know if they are compatible with other systems, or not. They all have a nice clear picture. Work at dark. Easily connects to our wifi, and they stay connected unless the electric goes out. The doorbell camera will work until the backup battery goes dead. Maintenance free so far. We have been very happy with our purchase. If you want storage in the cloud for a limited number of days then you have to buy a subscription, but if you just want live views then you do not need one.

At the first few hours I wanna to return the camera because you have to pay the subscription fees $12.99 for you to get the video and function event. But I been played a little on the apps and linked the camera to the garage smart opener; and I have found value or point to keep this camera. Whenever the garage door is open I able been notified at the same time with live view /streaming at the same apps. Although not recording at least I no need to swith to another brand of apps for live viewing. Lastly this camera easy to setup and not bulky with ease to hook up with magnet.

This is a great camera with good image quality both day and night. I bought the indoor camera for my garage, liked it a lot so I bought 3 outdoor cameras to replace my Arlo cameras. Setup was relatively painless. The camera was discovered by the app right away, connected to wi-fi and updated easily. The camera is installed with relative ease if your goal is to mount on a wall and just plug it in. There is about 15-20ft of wire with weatherproof fittings on both ends. If you are desiring a more refined installation with shorter or hidden wiring, you will need to drill, cut wire and solder in a new usb-a plug to your custom length of wire. It would be nice if Chamberlain designed a professional install kit to facilitate neater installation. Note: you will need the $99/yr 30-day all device storage subscription to be able to record your video. Not a bad deal if you are doing a multiple device installation. I have 5 video devices setup so it’s totally worth the price. My sole issue with the MyQ product line is that it does not integrate with Alexa. This make absolutely no sense to me since MyQ supports Amazon Key delivery. I would buy the new MyQ doorbell but not if it does not integrate with Alexa.

I've been using the myQ Garage Plug-in camera for about a week now. The magnetic base made installation super easy. I didn’t have to drill anything, just mounted it where I wanted and plugged it in which was a plus for me! The video quality is really sharp, and the wide-angle lens does a great job covering the whole garage without needing to constantly adjust it. It gives me a clear view of everything in my garage, which is exactly what I wanted. The night vision is also clear. One feature I love is the two-way audio. It’s helpful when telling someone in the garage something without having to walk out there. The motion alerts are not overly sensitive which i appreciate. Overall, it’s simple and reliable. It gives me a lot more visibility and peace of mind with almost no effort.

THE PROBLEM: I purchased this myQ Smart Garage Camera Gen 2 (Model: MYQ-C23AXXW1) to monitor my garage door. The hardware arrived in perfect condition, but I have been completely unable to register the device after 4+ hours of troubleshooting. Here's what's broken: iOS App Registration Fails: The myQ app has only two options: "Login" and "Register." Clicking "Register" redirects to "identity.myq-cloud.com" which immediately errors with "Safari can't open the page because your iPhone is not connected to the internet." This happens even with perfect WiFi and cellular connectivity. The app is trying to authenticate through their COMMERCIAL/ENTERPRISE portal instead of the consumer system. No Desktop Registration Alternative: The myQ.com website has no account creation option. The URLs that should handle registration (myq.com/account/register) return 404 errors. The only login page on the website (myq.com/myq-app-sign-in) explicitly states "Homeowners can manage their myQ devices and account settings only through the myQ app" - but the app doesn't work. QR Code Setup Fails: The camera's QR code scans to just the serial number (404256910647) with no actual setup URL, leaving you stuck. WHAT I TRIED: Deleted and reinstalled iOS app multiple times Cleared Safari cookies and cache Tried on cellular data vs WiFi Attempted desktop registration (doesn't exist) Tried Android emulator (BlueStacks won't run on Mac) ROOT CAUSE: The iOS app is hardcoded to redirect new registrations to Chamberlain's ENTERPRISE/COMMERCIAL authentication domain for apartment buildings and property management companies. Consumer cameras should authenticate through their consumer website, but that system appears broken or inaccessible. This is a fundamental software engineering failure. The product cannot be used as advertised because you cannot complete the most basic step: creating an account. WHO THIS AFFECTS: ✗ Anyone setting up as a NEW user (cannot register) ✓ Existing myQ users adding another camera (may work if account already exists) ✗ Anyone without access to an Android device for workarounds ✗ Anyone expecting to use desktop web interface (can't create account to log in) CHAMBERLAIN'S RESPONSE: The myQ support documentation and website provide no acknowledgment of this issue. There are no alternative registration methods documented. The company appears unaware their primary registration path is completely non-functional. User forums show this is not an isolated incident - many iPhone users report identical authentication loops and cannot register new accounts. BOTTOM LINE: This is a brand-new camera (manufactured October 2025) that cannot be registered by new users due to broken authentication software. The hardware is irrelevant if you can't set it up. Do not buy this product. Chamberlain needs to fix their registration system before selling cameras that new customers literally cannot activate. Returning to Amazon. Problem solved in 48 hours instead of wasting more time on Chamberlain's broken ecosystem. Para que puedas vincular la cámara a la app MyQ, debes descargar la app dándote de alta con dirección de EUA, de esa manera se habilita la forma de poder vincular la cámara, ya que la app para México no cuenta con la manera de vincularla. Valdría la pena y actualizarán la app para México e incluyeran la forma de agregar la cámara.
