Rich, full-bodied flavor we love—and worth double-puncturing every time
We’ve been buying Tim Hortons Dark Roast K-Cups for quite a while now—sometimes monthly, sometimes every other month—and it’s officially earned a spot in our Amazon subscription. It’s one of the few blends my husband won’t trade out for something else (trust me, I’ve tried), so we keep it stocked. Every shipment has arrived in great condition—no crushed pods, no duds, and every one is full (see note below). We brew ours in a Ninja coffee maker, which has serious pressure behind it, so to avoid the dreaded pod blow-out, we let the machine’s puncture needle do double duty. Push it down to puncture, lift, rotate 180°, push again. Simple. Effective. Slightly dramatic. Kind of like us before coffee. And maybe after. The flavor? Smooth, bold, and never bitter. Whether we brew it on “classic” (husband) or “rich,” (me) it delivers. The fact that it’s made from 100% Arabica beans is a plus—those are generally considered the gold standard of coffee beans. And if Arabica really is healthier (as I’ve read), we’ll happily take the bonus. We even repurpose the used grounds—sprinkling them on the yard to repel ants and around our blueberry bushes to enrich the soil acidity. Honestly, this coffee pulls double duty before and after brewing. ⭐ Pros: Great flavor without bitterness Every pod has arrived sealed and full Works beautifully with Ninja brewers (just spin and stab twice!) 100% Arabica beans Bonus: used grounds = garden gold ❌ Minor Con: No real downsides—as long as you remember the spin-and-stab trick with your brewer. Final thoughts: Not only is it available outside of bulk, it’s just cheaper that way—so we grab the 72-count. If you like smooth, bold coffee with zero drama (except for the two-puncture ritual with a Ninja), you won’t be disappointed.

Great coffee
This is my favorite brand of coffee. I started drinking this after a visit to Canada. It has a smooth, rich taste.

Colombiano Approved!
The BEST coffee for home brewing. My good friend is from Colombia and gave Tim Hortons dark roast two thumbs up. It never smells burnt or like dirt. It is the ONLY coffee I drink at home. Back home in NY, the lines around our local Timmy Ho's were always long and around the building.

Perfect cup of coffee
I love this coffee and this is by far the best deal on it. Buying this from Amazon is cheaper than bogo at the grocery store. I enjoy a dark roast and this is dark enough that I can make it on 10oz in my Keurig and it is still strong enough.

actual dark roast coffee, full bodied flavor, brews well at any amount (still tastes like coffee)
Makes a solid cup of coffee. Maintains strength of flavor with larger brews--doesnt turn into brown water. I prefer extra bold, extra dark, robust coffee consumed black and unsweetened. I am not a fan of Tim Hortons coffee in their cafes. I live in NY, near Canada border, and so there is pretty much a Tim Hortons on every corner. Usually their coffee is bitter and acidic to me, and needs to be ordered "double double" (2 creams 2 sugars), and even then I would only order it if I was desperate for caffeine. More of a homebody these days (ok, years) I haven't had to step out for coffee in a long time. Maybe they now offer dark roast in their stores, I dont know. But they didnt before. Now I will have to go there and check, because this K-CUP DARK ROAST is pretty good! Not my all time fave, but if the price is right, I would order again. Brewed at 10 ounces, this makes a strong cup. It even stands up well to a 12 ounce brewing. Go extra bold with a mere 8 ounce brew. My boxes of kcup look fine, and the cups brew well; no problems.

Best price & even beat Costco!
Hubby’s fave Keurig coffee and the price was perfect so he grabbed it while he could. A cop without his Tim’s coffee is almost cruel during this pandemic and it’s my trade off so he won’t go thru drive Thrustbelt, make it at home and save a fortune. I’m NOT making donuts! I have to draw the line. He says (I don’t drink coffee) that it’s better than any Keurig coffee and I’m NOT arguing with him until his second cup....at least ;) He’s very happy with it.
