Does this make probiotics as store brought

This is a container for fermenting your Kefir. Kefir grains must be obtained separately.

For the plastic stuff ,can I wash with boiling water before I put my milk kefir grains?what temperature you suggest?thank you

The user manual does not say that the parts are boiling water safe. Dishwasher top rack safe, yes, and hand wash recommended. For what it's worth, you don't need to boil the kit. (I rinse with cool water from the tap an use a soft bristle bottle brush on the jar.)

Why do the pictures show two jars repeatedly, but you apparently only get one?

This item is excellent for making kefir. However, it's overpriced considering it's just glass and plastic. It should come with some starter seeds.
