While I brush and floss and use mouthwash regularly, I've still been suffering from minor gum bleeding after brushing around my molars. I recently got a water flosser, but it didn't do a great job of getting rid of the gunk at my gum line. Figured I'd give this a shot, and it seems to be working so far!It's pretty easy to use and comes with a couple different tips. I found one I like and haven't really changed it since. My teeth are definitely cleaner around the gum line, though I imagine it'll take a bit more time before my gums are totally healthy again. In the meantime, at least this cleans up that ugly looking stuff on my teeth. And there's a helpful light on the thing so you can see what you're doing, so that's nice!A few minor cons / things to note:1) It doesn't seem like it's on until you actually put it against your teeth. In fact, it's dead silent and doesn't vibrate or anything. The second it touches your teeth, you realize it's definitely working. Start with the weakest setting and work your way up2) Because it uses soundwaves instead of a physical motor, the high pitched sound when it's on your teeth and be a bit annoying. Not a huge deal, but if you're sensitive to high pitch sounds, it's something to be aware of3) For a future model, it would be awesome if I could use a charging dock (like I have for my electric toothbrush) instead of plugging in a cable. I'd also like a slightly easier way to swap out tips (they include a little wrench to unscrew and tighten.. it works, but I'd prefer tool-less)Overall, very happy with my purchase. The cons are honestly pretty nitpicky, and it seems to do what it says it will.

The Polamd Dental Calculus Remover is a well made consumer grade plaque remover. It's sleek and easy to handle.There are 5 modes:Soft - Sensitive Teeth. I have sensitive teeth and have found this mode comfortable and was able to remove the buildup on my teeth with little effort. I have not used any of the other modes.Middle - Teeth PolishNormal - Normal plaque buildupStrong - Major plaque buildupSuper Strong - Stubborn plaque and stainsWhen the head touches the tooth, there's a slight vibration with low noise; that's the ultrasonic working to remove plaque. I was able to see actual plaque coming off my teeth. I'm dedicated to brushing every night and found this very easy to include in my nightly dental ritual. My plaque buildup is minimal. However, I was removing plaque where I didn't think there was. It takes less than 5 minutes of using this plaque remover - which I find pretty convenient. You have the option to use an LED light to help with cleaning and a dental mirror which is included.There are three sizes for cleaning different areas; a pointed head for getting in small areas, a regular size pointed head for getting debris around the gum area and a flat head for scraping larger areas.Switching the different heads is somewhat cumbersome. After a few nights, I had the transition down. To change heads, there's a small wrench to loosen and tighten. Charging is pretty fast.All in all, the Polamd Dental Calculus Remover does exactly what they say it will do - it removes plaque buildup very well, especially what your regular brushing is not able to do and for the low cost, it is worth every penny.

This thing works! I was thinking it would vibrate and you’d feel the movement of it, but honestly you can NOT tell it’s vibrating until you touch your tooth. Even then, you can not feel it- you can hear it but only after it touches the surface of your tooth. It’s crazy!! But yes- it does get plaque off. I am VERY good at taking care of my teeth. I don’t have a ton of plaque build-up. And i don’t use it everyday. So the fact that it does get plaque off my teeth when I use it shows that it is a quality product. I have not noticed that it whitens my teeth, but I’m sure people with thick plaque would have a whitening experience when the plaque is removed. All in all, I love it!

Easy to use. Requires patience. Didn't look like it was doing much at first. But, about 15 minutes per side, we saved our standard poodle an all day ordeal and being put under at the vet, for teeth cleaning. Pic was taken a week later, gums are healthy, all inflammation and redness is gone. Would not attempt it with my cats😳

I was skeptical about this actually working and removing plaque because it was such a good deal but it really does what it says!! I love it, you can feel a difference right away!!! Like on the box and the other reviewers say it is silent until it touches your teeth, there are different tips and settings so you have to experiment to find the right ones for you and it has a light and comes with a dental mirror, for the hard to reach places!! Everyone should have one if these!!

It actually works, I thought it wasn’t going to work but I am surprised on how good it worked I thought it would hurt but it doesn’t and you could literally see the tarter being removed and I mean I like it and I usually am disappointed on teeth products some sellers on Amazon sell but this one was actually good. 10/10 recommend

Right out of the box you can feel the quality. It has weight to it and is not just a cheap piece of plastic.I was hesitant to order at first because I have super sensitive teeth and thought I’d never be able to stand using it but there is literally no discomfort at all. I’ve even forgone cleanings at the dentist because my teeth are so sensitive.The lighted end makes it easy to see what you’re doing and it seems to hold a charge forever. I’ve removed stained tarter from my gum line and between my teeth so my teeth look super white and clean.Great product. Highly recommended.
