Extra-ordinary book
I found this after yet another look in and around the sofa of the interwebs. After a innocent link to the @made ydyslexia facebook page.It didn’t disapoint. Great visual and informative to the lay child (and i).Great early learning source of fun reading when ya just can’t handle another long and in depth start to your research.I can imagine this will reach kids who can have the right conversations with thier parents and teachers and friends. Glad to see this super power is being respected as such. A powerful presence to have!

Simple but beautiful message
We were recommended this book by our dyslexia tutor and love it. Dyslexic is seen as a problem to be fixed but this book shows the talents & superpowers of dyslexics. The quizzes for each type really made my son stop and think & he proudly announced that he’s a mix of super talents. What a lovely message to send to a child who has been struggling. I think this is a lovely book to read for all children as they will identify with roles that best suit them. So many simple but positive messages, I’m so glad it was recommended to us. Highly recommended

Xtraordinary well put together, uplifting book
I have 3 dyslexic sons age 10,9 & 6 my 6 year old has yet to be formally diagnosed but there is no doubt in our minds he is. This book has given all three of them a real buzz, they are so thrilled to tick off their xtraordinary skills. The book is very well written, and goes through all the skills a dyslexic has and gives them ideas of what they may be when they grow up. A very good read for not only dyslexic kids, their parents, but their friends who may not quite understand how they think.

Fantastic!
Fantastic book for any child with dyslexia. My 9 year old has very severe dyslexia and we are trying to instil in her that she can do whatever she wants in life. We adopted the idea some months ago of this being her superpower after being on the Made by Dyslexia website and this book helps to embed that ethos in her fabulous, creative, imaginative, wonderful brain. Well done to all involved, I’m sure it will help a huge amount of people.

Inspiring
It is brilliant to have a book, which talks about dyslexia in such a positive and inspirational way. Not many people remember or know how to explain to a child that having dyslexia is not a barrier to your aspirations. More often than not the focus is on limitations and difficulties.

Simply XTRAORDINARY!
This book will empower your little people by reminding them to always focus on their unique cognitive abilities and the unlimited potential that often accompanies non-linear thinking. I recommend this book to anyone, but especially to parents and educators with newly identified dyslexic(s). The visuals are captivating — no, mesmerizing. It makes me wish I was #MadeByDyslexia too! -Marilyn, mom of an xtraordinary dyslexic daughter

Outstanding book for young people
As a child Counsellor and Educational Therapist I use this book to support children to develop an awareness of their strengths as we work through some of the challenges of reading, attention, spelling and assessments. It is always empowering and such a wonderful and accessible tool.

A great intro do dyslexia to little kids
A great way to introduce the complexities and many strengths of a dyslexia brain to young kids who more often than not have their confidence crushed in the traditional test focused school programs that end up crushing their creativity and ability to innovate, which is really one of the key strengths of a dyslexic brain.

This book is awesome
My eight year old granddaughter was just diagnosed as dyslexic. This book is so enlightening and helps us understand that dyslexia can be embraced not feared.
