Works indoors or out, on a patio, garage or front porch. : Patio, Lawn & Garden Review: Exactly what I wanted! - 2023 update: It's been just over 2 years and these mats look as good as when I purchased them! Great value! I bought this in brown for my front entry that has hardwood a month ago. This mat is the first of many types I have tried over the years that stays in place and is low enough for my door to move over it freely. It has a nice pattern, rich color, and doesn't look cheap. Only upon close inspection can I tell it's rubber with plastic-looking curls. The curly rubber fibers work well to trap dirt, water and snow when my dog and I come back from our hikes. It is surprisingly soft and cushiony, even on bare feet, so I purchased another one in gray a week ago that I use in my kitchen. It shakes clean, vacuums well, or you can hose it off. The 1st two photos are the older mat in my entryway and on close inspection even with one month of 65lb puppy nails and my hiking boot rubs, I can't see any broken fibers. I vacuumed yesterday and have been out in the snow with my pup 3 times since. Still looks new to me. The color variation is due to the location in the hall and the lighting. The gray is the new mat in the kitchen. I think they look better than the photo show. Please note that the mat arrives folded and stiff. As the directions state, it takes about 10 minutes in the drier to make it pliant so the creases come out. I was hesitant to do so and tried laying it in the sun for a day to no avail, so into the drier it went. I wasn't sure how it would come out since it had to be folded over to fit but it came out very soft and stretchy (a little smelly but that dissipated in a couple of minutes) and there was no harm to the mat or the drier. I don't know if you could do this with a hair drier. Review: Doubles As A Litter Mat - Quick Points: - Great at trapping dirt (or cat litter in my case) - Very cushioned - Does not slip around at all - Appears durable so far I purchased this mat after getting frustrated with my cats tracking litter around my apartment. We recently bought the Litter Robot, and for some reason my 3 cats jump out of it sideways, spraying litter all over. I purchased the 42x35 black mat to span my hallway where we keep the Litter Robot so that it would catch any stray litter. So far, so good! In my attached photos you can see the cat litter trapped in the grooves of the mat which is exactly what I needed. I also noticed significantly less litter tracking already. The mat itself is very well cushioned. After receiving it, I warmed it in the drier for 10 minutes or so and all of the creases from shipping went away. I also had to trim a corner of it because of the molding in my hallway, and that was easy to do with regular scissors. As for durability, I haven’t had it long enough to see how it holds up, BUT my cats used it as a scratching pad last night and there is no sign of wear at all. Overall, very happy with it and wish I got it sooner! ## Features - No-Slip Texture for Safety: Keep your floors clean and safe with this sturdy front door mat that features a slip-resistant backing, preventing sliding even in high-traffic areas - For Outdoor and Indoor Use: This versatile outdoor mats for front door is designed to handle dirt, water, and debris, making it suitable for patios, garages, and entryways - Easy to Clean with Minimal Maintenance: The indoor mat for entryway is crafted from durable polypropylene, which allows you to clean it effortlessly; simply rinse or vacuum to keep it fresh - Sized Right for Any Space: Designed for versatility, this door entry rug measures 42 x 35 inches, providing optimal coverage at entryways and doorways to trap dust and keep interiors clean - Unique Pattern for Enhanced Décor: This entry mat for front door offers a stylish plaid pattern in grey, blending seamlessly with both modern and traditional home aesthetics while protecting floors ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08L82ZTYY | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,708 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #288 in Outdoor Doormats | | Brand | SlipToGrip | | Brand Name | SlipToGrip | | Color | Green | | Construction Type | Handmade | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 24,861 Reviews | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Dimensions L x W | 42"L x 35"W | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Thickness | 0.5 inches | | Item Weight | 1.71 kg | | Material | Polypropylene | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Occasion | Housewarming | | Other Special Features of the Product | Non Slip | | Pattern | Plaid | | Pile Height | Low Pile | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Room Type | Kitchen | | Rug Form Type | Doormat | | Size | 42" x 35" (1 Pack) | | Style Name | Outdoor & Indoor | | Theme | Plaid | | UPC | 818297026838 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | | Weave Type | Handmade | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SlipToGrip - **Item Weight:** 1.71 kg - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Size:** 42" x 35" (1 Pack) - **Weave Type:** Handmade ## Images ![SlipToGrip Indoor Outdoor Door Mat for Entryway, 42" x 35", Green, 2 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81LJkb+qxeL.jpg) ![SlipToGrip Indoor Outdoor Door Mat for Entryway, 42" x 35", Green, 2 Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919ZeAcCG3L.jpg) ![SlipToGrip Indoor Outdoor Door Mat for Entryway, 42" x 35", Green, 2 Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ndXNvtJGL.jpg) ![SlipToGrip Indoor Outdoor Door Mat for Entryway, 42" x 35", Green, 2 Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cfWm5axdL.jpg) ![SlipToGrip Indoor Outdoor Door Mat for Entryway, 42" x 35", Green, 2 Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71okeFhcWVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I wanted! *by C***E on February 1, 2021* 2023 update: It's been just over 2 years and these mats look as good as when I purchased them! The first 2 were great for our need, which is at the back door for our 4 dogs to cross upon coming back inside from our sandy, dirt patch/weeds yard. It helps trap a lot of that dirt from their paws, as well as whatever else may be stuck to their feet (leaves, pine straw, rare piece of poo). These mats were brown and lasted. The 3rd one I ordered was khaki. I don't know what the problem was, but that mat was bad quality. It started splitting apart after about a month. I had to duct tape it from the bottom. Then the upper side started breaking apart and pieces were scattering across my kitchen. I was always picking up pieces and treating it cautiously. I've just ordered another one, hoping that was a fluke. I'm disappointed that I lost my money on a bad item and I wish the manufacturer or seller would refund me or give me a replacement. But after a while to think on it, I'll give it another chance. I was very happy with the first 2 mats.. so much so that I also ordered another a while back and had it sent to my dad's house for the entry from his dusty back yard into his garage.. to keep his wife from complaining so much about dirt on her floor. 😂 Overall, this was a good purchase to start with and I hope the next one will be like the other good ones. It really does help keep the dirt down. It's rubber but doesn't look like it. It's nice-looking and fits interior decor. You vacuum it with low suction like you would a regular rug, and then if you wish, you can take it outside and drape it over a chair, fence, or grill, or lay it on a driveway or patio and hose it off to rinse out the dirt from time to time. It dries quickly. Oh, did I mention that it wipes away and holds most of the water from shoes and paws, keeping it (and mud) from being completely tracked in? --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/324723077-sliptogrip-indoor-outdoor-door-mat-for-entryway-42-x-35](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/324723077-sliptogrip-indoor-outdoor-door-mat-for-entryway-42-x-35) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
