The fitting in the 3/8 part is not the right size it cannot be used.

Works perfectly
1/2” to 3/8 reducer, rubber washer ensures no leaks. Tried one from Home Depot with no washer and it leaked, even with plumbers tape. This one is what you need.

Male side is smaller than 3/8”. Im returning it.
