I was very disappointed after buying this product as a natural product to learn it has DMDM in it. A formeldahyde sp .... very bad !

the shampoo is thick and lathers PERFECTLY. it instantly deposits onto my strands with minimal effort. it's very effective because it's a deep rich purple, almost black until it spreads thinner and you can see the purple areas.. but it's also drying. it's not naturally runny either but it will run if you give it time.i did use the conditioner which is a lilac purple color, it's very good too, it was super moisturizing and an excellent pairing with the shampoo. they both work wonderfully to cancel out yellow tones. i also used t18 right after these and it literally got rid of everything i was hoping to as far as yellow and brass. these worked as an awesome duo alone though!! highly recommend trying if you want something that will work

This GoodMood Purple Shampoo and Conditioner Set is intended for platinum blonde, silver, or gray hair. The purple cancels out any yellowish tones in your hair.The first time I used the shampoo, I had a lot of products in my hair and the shampoo didn't lather well. I used it for a second time, having washed out the products and the lather was creamy and full.The conditioner works as well as others I've tried, including Oliplex (a treatment). It too, is a very dark purple color.If you've never tried colored shampoo and conditioner products before, don't be concerned about their color. It doesn't change your hair color; it merely cancels out any yellowish or brassy casts.

This is an excellent price for really effective purple shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is a very dark purple and is especially effective. If you leave it on for along time you will have a bit of a beautiful purple tone. I only leave it on for a short period of time which is perfect to get rid of the golden color and really makes my hair look platinum. The conditioner works really well to condition and moisturize and it also has some purple color (but not as much as the shampoo).The shampoo has a fruity/tropical scent that is very delicate and fresh. The conditioner has the same fruity/tropical with undertones of woodiness. The scents of both are really pleasant to me. I tend to not like very strong fragrances, but these are very nice and not overpower at all.I am amazed at the price of this set. $13 a bottle ($26 for the set) is a total bargain for the quality and effectiveness of the product. You could easily spend 2-3 times that on another brand.I also wanted to mention that I am glad to see really nice ingredients and especially no Dimethicone (silicone) or any bad chemicals. That is really important to me.This has quickly become my favorite shampoo and conditioner. I have been using it once a week, so these bottles will last along time.

I have used the shampoo and conditioner of the GoodMood Purple Shampoo and Conditioner Set. The shampoo is a deep purple liquid, enriched with Keratin, Panthenol, and Vitamin E. The conditioner is a lavender-colored cream. The shampoo lathers well. There was a strong scent when I was using the shampoo, but it vanished after a while. I have a mixture of grey and light brown hair. This set does what it says it will do. Using the Purple Set brought out the grey hair and made it shiny. The overall result was to make all of my hair clean, smooth and shiny.

I bleach my hair near platinum, and I'm always needing to try new purple shampoo or conditioners. I actually have perfected what I do with box dye but also some salon quality products. I actually used to this set after a box dye bleach session. My hair is dark brown, and when I go that light I definitely can get super brassy. I left both of these in several minutes, and it didn't have all the typical brass that it would have after doing that. My hair didn't feel super dried out. I would start with a regular shampoo before the purple shampoo, because if you have a lot of products in your hair which I always do it doesn't seem to be meant for that kind of cleaning. These are two big bottles, and for around $25 that's a good value for a toning set like this. I'm happy with these, and they will last a long time.
