I Tried 3 times to make tortilla's but they came out like nan bread not like a tortilla at all My son had a go & still failed In the bin it went

So impressed with this product, easy to use and tortillas came out perfectly round and even. 2 second job instead of spending ages rolling out roti's or tortillas. Definitely recommend getting the sheets with the press so the wraps don't rip etc.

I've been researching the best cast iron press as hand rolling gives me friction burns and this one had the best reviews, I'm impressed on how quickly and perfectly round they come out. your dough needs to be made right, not sticky or dry, and you use plastic sheets or parchment paper provided, the recipe ebook has a great selection of recipes. Could be slightly thinner but for time saving and convenience it's definitely recommended

Arrived without parchment paper and screw missing. Amazon can only offer a refund on the whole thing, and the price has gone up £10 overnight, which I can't afford. So I'll use my own screw, and my own paper. NOT HAPPY

I don’t consider myself a particularly demanding customer, so when I saw this tortilla press had an average rating of 4.0, I decided to go ahead and buy it. Unfortunately, I should have paid more attention to the 1-star reviews. The tortillas come out far too thick! I pressed the lever as far as possible until I felt resistance, but most of the pressure is only applied on the side with the lever. It’s not evenly distributed across the whole surface, as the top part of the press actually bends. I have no idea how a supposedly sturdy material like cast iron can bend, but somehow it does. This results in tortillas that are flat on one side and thick on the other. Additionally, the parchment paper provided is completely useless - it sticks to the dough like glue, so I had to use my own baking paper instead.

We had a different press that actually broke. So we bought this one and are very happy with it. We intentionally bought a cast iron one versus a cast aluminum one, which is what we had before.
