It is 2.4GHz wireless and requires the included USB receiver be inserted into a USB port on your computer in order to function. This allowed my Android TV Box without Bluetooth capability to have full keyboard and mouse functionality without a tangle of physical cables. I just plugged the receiver into an available USB port and powered on the keyboard. It was instantly recognized and ready to use.I was immediately intrigued by the small size and shape of this keyboard which is approximately 5.5” x 3.5” x .75”. It is lightweight and very comfortable to hold in my hands while typing quickly with my thumbs. Above the keyboard there are directional buttons on the left and a touchpad mouse on the right with 8 special buttons in the center for the IR learning feature. Scrolling is accomplished by using the FN button while dragging my finger down the side of the Touchpad. On either side, there is a mouse button that assumes the function of the right or left mouse button. I particularly like having the backlight which is easy to activate and toggle the lightbulb button to your favorite color. Select the color backlight that you prefer and then type away. When you stop typing the backlight will sleep until you tap any key to wake it up. It’s very efficient and helps conserve the battery life.I have tested this keyboard with my Windows 10 and 7 laptops and it connected and performed flawlessly. Windows takes a few seconds to load a driver for the device and then it is ready to use. Aside from my Android TV Box, my other Android devices only have micro-USB ports which cannot accommodate the full-sized receiver for the keyboard. Happily, I discovered that the keyboard will work with an OTG adapter cable or hub allowing it to connect to Android tablets and smartphones. This expanded my tests to include 2 Android tablets, an Amazon Fire tablet, and 2 smartphones.The smartphones were immediately transformed with faster, more accurate, input and navigation. Entering new Contact information is no longer drudgery because typing is much easier on the physical keyboard than the onscreen keyboard. The biggest surprise was the performance improvement when using the keyboard with the Amazon Fire Tablet. The touchpad mouse on the keyboard, virtually eliminates accidentally launching programs by touching the wrong thing on the screen. I get where I need to go much faster without the side-trips to the wrong program or website. Both of the Android tablets that I used to test the keyboard had physical keyboards that plug into the micro-USB port but the wireless keyboard with the touchpad mouse and backlight is more comfortable to use.The iPazzPort Mini Wireless Keyboard has yet another useful feature. The IR learning function allows you to assign the function of certain buttons on the remote of another device to one of 8 buttons on the keyboard. The user manual provides very clear instructions how to do this. My past experience with this type of learning technology has always ended in dismal failure but this keyboard had no problem learning to turn on my DVD player on the very first attempt. If you prefer, there is a good YouTube video that shows how to set up the IR learning for another remote.This little keyboard performed flawlessly through all my various testing on different devices. At one point my TV Box locked up and refused to shut off. It was the perfect opportunity to test the Control/Alt/Delete button on the keyboard. Just as it does with a PC, this button reset the TV Box and got it going again. The keyboard/mouse turned my less than cooperative TV Box into a fully functional media streaming device which I am happily using now. The keyboard has made all of my tested devices much more functional and easy to use. If ever a device deserved a 5 Star Rating, this is it. This is a great little keyboard. I purchased this keyboard to use with a windows 11 mini PC-- the device worked great, except for the right side of the touchpad is supposed to scroll down the page when swiped and that function did not work. I wrote to the company to ask if there was a way to rest the device to see if that fixed it and rather than put me through the hassle, they provided a promo code to order another one for free. The second device works as advertised and I would purchase from this company again.

I got this remote in the morning and i've been using it the whole day without charging it straight out of the box. it lasted for about 8 hours of constant use. It can still be used while charging and looks like it works when you point it to the side of the room. It is hard to program. I've been following the directions on the back of the control, but I had to do this at least 5 times until it recognized the command. I did this for every key i wanted to program. the USB dongle works good in my 2019 Sony Bravia 950G. Makes thing easier to type in Youtube app and Prime video. I programed the 6 of the 8 keys to control the tv settings and the + and - keys to control th volume of an early 2000s sony home theater. I wanted to control the Directv receiver but the numbers on the keyboard wont work with the IR settings. I only manage to active the "guide" and channel up and down on the programable arrows, but as I said it is hard to program. Took me 5 attempts for key. I have a Harmony 650 that turns on and off the tv, home theater and directv box at the same time with the power button. I couldn't make it do the same, so I just use this little keyboard for when I wanna watch movies on prime or play video music on youtube app. it makes thing way easier by just typing in the keyboard and the mouse path is really helpful too. It displays a little arrow on the tv and you move it around easily with you finger. you can double tap and scroll on it. It has a little delay on the pad but it's almost perfect. not too bad. The Material feels solid. like the 80s pocket calculators. The back light is really helpful and bright. you get 3 color. the keys feels like rubberish. I doubt it is water resistant so i gonna wrap it in plastic just in case I spill the beer on it when im drunk. Also you can Lock out the pad and keyboard separately to prevent from accidental push on keys. thats useful incase you dont wanna use the mouse pad. Now to the people who makes this product... if you could make this thing work like the Harmony 650+ series, it would be nice. make it fully programable so we can use 1 remote control to control the entire entertainment system without switching back and forward on the buttons. I use the harmony to control the direct tv receiver and the volume on the home theater. anyways, Im happy with this little keyboard. It's almost the perfect remote control for your entertainment system. I recommended it to anyone tired of typing letter by letter with the remote control on the dumb screen keyboard. cant wait to get totally waisted this weekend searching for music on youtube. thankzUpdate: keyboard doesn’t work with Directv receivers and Dishnetwork Joey 3. I bought a second keyboard for my daughter and the onscreen arrow doesn’t show up on her Samsung tv. Other than that, the keyboard works perfectly

Great setup for my media PC attached to our TV. It's way more convenient than a keyboard and mouse as it fits nicely in my hands. I'm not a big fan of the touchpad for the mouse, I always fumble around a lot with those things. It could just be a matter of getting used to it, but I wonder if a mini-joystick would have been better.I can't speak for the provided wifi dongle setup because I chose to go with Bluetooth and that works fine. I went with Bluetooth because I usually have issues with wireless equipment. Bluetooth hasn't failed me yet.The backlighting is handy, I like the blue because it isn't as hard on my eyes while watching TV in a dark room.All in all it's a good device and I'd recommend it if you're using Bluetooth.

I have had multiple remotes over the years, and this one is the best so far. I really like the fact that I program other remotes to this one, less remotes hanging around.

Great remote not hard to connect just takes a couple of tries sometimes. Once it’s connected though it’s a complete game changer. It makes the fire stick way easier to use and more efficient. I’m very happy with this purchase.
