Pacific Drums by DW 700 Series Snare Stand

Good stand for the price. I was not looking to spend a small fortune, yet I wanted a quality stand. I wanted something light weight, not bulky but sturdy enough and safe for my vintage Slingerland one piece, steam bent, 6" deep maple wood snare drum. This is certainly solid enough for a normal rock drummer like me. Easy fit between me, the drums, pedals, stands, etc. The normal size basket adjuster knob is plastic but if you don't beat it or ridiculously over tighten it. it will be fine.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It holds my 14 inch snare very securely. The stand is very solid and I see a quality built product. Seems very solid and has very good adjustability. I highly recommend this stand. Anyone that doesn't like this stand, in my opinion, is way to darn picky. Quality built, solid stance, secure hold and good adjustability. What more could you want.

This is getting a 4/5 review not because it lacks quality but because there are better snare stands out there. Of course, I found this to be the best bargain. I recently bought a new pork pie snare and decided it needed a nicer stand to sit upon. PDP makes great stuff and as long as you don't abuse your gear it should last years, heck I've abused all 7 of my PDP cymbal stands and they've lasted years putting up with the rigors of touring and gigging. Overall a decent product thus far, we'll see how it holds up through the ages...

For the price, PDP makes some of the best hardware out there. This snare stand is great. It's fairly lightweight, solid, and can even hold a 10" snare drum. Great stuff!

Overall I found the stand was pretty good quality and would have worked fine for a larger-snare. However, at it's smallest setting my 10" snare was not held securely and would easily fall out. Unlike other buyers I was able to lower the stand to my liking, though it involved loosening a bracket on the base of the stand. This was not easy, as it did not use a standard nut, and there was no tool included for this purpose. I have since returned this unit and replaced it with the Yamaha version, and it fits much better.

PDP makes and amazing drum set an amazing hard ware to company it. This stand locks your snare in place so it doesn't dance around when u play it. It's easy to set up and to adjust. Simply love it with my PDP Birch Concept kit.

I bought this stand to use on a newer drumkit that I was building. It's sturdy, very moveable, and holds up well to being bashed on. I play heavy metal (a lot of blast beats) so my snare needs to stay in one place. I would highly recommend this stand to anyone!

It's solid, but is not beefy pro-grade hardware (obviously). Great for an entry-level drum set, or for a piccolo/secondary snare, but I'd invest a bit more money for a primary snare stand if you're playing a decent kit. I'm using it to hold a multipad/sampler, so I'm not worried about it. It is a great value though—I couldn't find anything of similar build quality at this price.

appears solid and well made....stable and strong great range of adjustment.........holds my 12 inch tom perfectly........drum sits stable while playing.....longevity remains to be tested, but, very optimistic!!

I bought this as I needed a 2nd snare stand for my vintage kit 13" tom. I was in a rush and couldn't find any 2nd hand items and for the price, I thought this would be OK. And, it is. OK. It does what it needs to do, but i wouldn't recommend it for heavy hitters. I was expecting somewhat of a wow factor with this being that DW is the parent company but perhaps I was being naive.Shipping and supplier were 100%! Thanks this came in time for my gig!!!
