You can expect the same quality as the classic Birkenstock Arizona Dark Brown Natural Oiled Leather Sandals but with the added "Soft Footbed" feature which feels like walking on clouds. Unisex Birkenstock Softfootbed give you an extra cushioning for a softer walk which is great for people with sensitive feet. Footbed: Soft footbed - a foam layer is inserted between the cork layer and the suede liner of the classic Birkenstock footbed. This layer features an extremely high degree of rebound capacity which permits long-lasting cushioning. Our iconic two-strap Birkenstock style, the Arizona, is known for being the epitome of comfort. Both straps have buckles for a fantastic fit. **** Birkenstock sizing information: The letter "N" indicates "Narrow Width Footbed" and accommodates Narrow to Regular footbeds. The letter "M" indicates "Medium/Regular/Normal Width Footbed" and accommodates Regular to Wide footbeds. Please also note: if you've never worn Birkenstocks before: Birkenstock makes the Arizona Sandals intentionally roomy (both in length and in width) for added comfort so they tend to run long and wide (our customer say they are about 0.5 (half-a-size) larger than your average sandal . Most people prefer it this way since the buckles can be adjusted for a tight fit. In fact, this is part of their appeal. Birkenstock footwear is designed and sized to provide a roomy fit allowing your toes and feet to wiggle and be free. This sometimes takes a bit of getting used to. However, if you're unsure of which size to order and prefer a very tight fit (no wiggle room) AND do not plan on wearing socks: we recommend purchasing a size smaller than you typically purchase. Refer to the Birkenstock Size Conversion Chart for an accurate fit. **** Please note that Birkenstock imprint on sole can be either yellow- or blue lettering depending on production date **** ## Features - Arizona by Birkenstock in Dark Brown Natural Leather - thick yet supple leather is breathable, durable and comfortable - leather will soften with wear. - The Soft Footbed takes all the features of the classic footbed and adds an extra layer of latex foam providing millions of tiny air bubbles to cushion every step. - This initial extra softness is great if you are a first-time wearer, or someone who has sensitive feet or perhaps who have a thinner- or flat feet. - Because of the extra layer of foam Soft Footbed, styles do tend to fit a bit snugger then the classic footbed products. - Just like the standard Birkenstock shoes you remember, but the soft footbed is immediately comfortable - requires less of a molding- or breaking in period. ## Images ![Birkenstock Arizona 'Soft Footbed' Brown Leather Sandals (39 N EU - 8-8.5 US Women) - Image 1](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FIExV4YtL.jpg) ![Birkenstock Arizona 'Soft Footbed' Brown Leather Sandals (39 N EU - 8-8.5 US Women) - Image 2](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41JF-WNdPaL.jpg) ![Birkenstock Arizona 'Soft Footbed' Brown Leather Sandals (39 N EU - 8-8.5 US Women) - Image 3](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51xbbMVPhWL.jpg) ![Birkenstock Arizona 'Soft Footbed' Brown Leather Sandals (39 N EU - 8-8.5 US Women) - Image 4](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51%2BMbYMjN3L.jpg) ![Birkenstock Arizona 'Soft Footbed' Brown Leather Sandals (39 N EU - 8-8.5 US Women) - Image 5](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41DYAYzCIjL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/32427965-birkenstock-arizona-soft-footbed-brown-leather-sandals-39-n-eu](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/32427965-birkenstock-arizona-soft-footbed-brown-leather-sandals-39-n-eu) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
