Bought this over a year ago for my mom she needs her hearing aids to work as well as they can. I suppose that could be said for anyone who wears aides. It works great. Quick and easy. I should probably do my best to use this more regularly. Mom’s aids go in at least once a week. We always get a good report from the audiologist about moisture levels in the aids. Worth the money. Important device in my caregiver toolkit.

Device fits one pair of hearing aids. 45 minute run time is accurate. Temperature does seem to be safe for rechargeable batteries. Fan is very quiet. I run this everyday after recharging my hearing aids. It's fine for normal perspiration and ambient moisture, consider it preventative maintenance. If you end up submerging your hearing aids this may need be enough and an expensive device like the Redux may be better choice. My only complaint is that the on switch is bright enough to keep you awake while it runs. Otherwise an excellent cost effective solution to moisture reduction in electronic devices.

This is a very simple and convenient dryer for hearing aids

This dryer works fast and does a great job of drying my hearing aids. It's not a 3-6 hour process, only about 45 minutes.

The on button is not good. It turns on when the lid is closed when empty.

My husband kept having almost radio static sounds in his hearing aids and we kept having to take them in to our audiologist to have her work on them. She recommended this to help get the moisture out because he works outside and sweats a lot. He hasn’t had any problems with his hearing aids since he has been using this when he gets home each night since July. I definitely recommend this if you’re active and get sweat in your ears.

My 11 year old wears hearing aids and this has been amazing. He comes home form schools every day with a bunch of moisture in his hearing aids. When we used the moisture packets to take out the moisture it would take forever. We never knew how long they were going to take to dry out. This dryer has cut down the time needed to dry out his hearing aids. It runs for 45 minutes and will automatically shut off when done. There has only been a hand full of time when we have needed to run them though a second time. My son’s hearing aids are rechargeable but it says it will work on aid that require batteries. You just have to open to battery door while in use. It’s super quiet and has a nice clean look to it. If it’s in our travel case with his charger and cords easily. We will never go back to the old way for drying his hearing aids again.

Noticed several reviews with people having trouble turning it on. Saying there is no noticeable depression or click to start button. That's because there is none. Start is activated by touch. Just touch the start button and you'll see the blue light start to fade in and out. Never goes completely off until the 45 minutes have passed. Hearing aids feel completely fresh but the most notable thing for me. My battery life was getting shorter. After using the dryer my battery life has returned to normal. Apparently moisture in hearing aids was the culprit. Just the battery life coming back will pay for the dryer real quick. And so happy not changing out batteries so often. I should note I am completely deaf in one ear so I have cross hearing aids. The one aid transmits sound to my better ear. Uses more battery than both ear aids. Best purchase I have made as an accessory to my aids. You need this.
