Good quality.
I've looked for a long time for this exact type of product. I am pleased with it.

Comfortable, good finish, but not quite 4g
I ordered this in 4g 5/8" to wear as a septum ring. The ring is comfortable with a good finish, the segment has nice-side studs on either end to lock into the detents in the ring opening with no risk of the segment falling out, and the ring weighs in at about 7.6gHowever the ring isn't quite 4ga; I measured it with digital calipers and it is 4.91mm, and 4ga is actually suppose to be 5.189mm. I am calling this out because I am finding a LOT of jewelry I buy on Amazon is actually smaller than the claimed gauge, and as the gauges get larger, the errors are more significant and important to take into consideration when stretching piercings. Deducting one star because of the .2mm difference.

Wont open, no reply from seller
Could not open 2g segment with special ordered heavy duty opening pliers for larger gauges. Tried contacting seller for help, no reply. Buy another product.

Exactly as described
I was very skeptical after reading all the reviews. The ring is very smooth and actually had to look for the segment section. A little hard to spread but with proper tools not a big problem. Has nice weight and always know it there. I use for my pa

Very nice finish, and exactly what I was looking for
Very nice finish, and exactly what I was looking for. The 4gauge is VERY hard to open to get apart and together, but look great.

bigger than we thought
they were a lot bigger in diameter than i thought they'd be and heavier too... in retrospect neither of them is surprising but if you purchase these expect them to stretch our lobes out a lot. Even though we purchased the tool to help put them in my husband had a hard time getting the one to open far enough to get the segment out. Also the seam is much more noticeable in person than the picture would leave you to believe. If you get them I would strongly suggest taking them to your local body piercing shop to have them put in... they are not a bad earning my husband and I both have OCD and the few short falls were glaring for us.
