The first time I used these, they sucked and I was super disappointed. I tried again a month later and they were awesome! Come to find out, there's a crappy outer layer that you need to kind of rub off before you'll get good, solid color. Now that I know that, I would definitely recommend these.

I bought these hoping they would be easier to use than a brush kit, but they have a very round blunt end. You definitely can't be precise like you can with a little brush. Plus I had to push hard on a gave to make the color show up on the lighter ones. They remind me of bathtub crayons. They do wash off really easy after it dries.

These totally made a 5 year old’s day! He used a similar set at a local children’s museum and has been asking about them ever since. I wanted something similar (water based, super washable, and safe for his sensitive skin.) These totally fit the bill! Lots of colors, easy to use in a wind up stick with cap, and best of all it really does come off with water (or a baby wipe.)I would not recommend these for detail work or “face painting” as they are pretty thick. The included stencils were an exciting perk but a little tough to use. These are a great way for him to entertain himself and create.

Cake off, don't draw a strong color on the first pass, have to go over the same area several times, then it distributes color unevenly in that area. Tip of each crayon is pretty thick, making it impossible to draw any of the finely detailed designs that come in the pamphlet with the crayons. Have used a couple other face paint kits that include paint palettes and brushes, & those worked much better, in terms of quality of color transfer to skin and ability to draw fine details on face

Bought these for my 9 year-old daughter for Christmas. After I received them, began second-guessing myself, wondering if she might think they were too "baby-ish". Not so!! She tattooed every woman, man and child on Christmas Day. EVERYONE loved them and had so much fun. I had several people ask me where I got them. For once, I felt ahead of the curve. She has since used them to face paint with her friends. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves these! She colored her face and arms blue to be a Smurf! They wash off easily. The lighter colors don't show that well on darker skin but overall these are a great addition to any family.

They are pretty bad. Clunky, cannot create details because the stick is fat, the color comes out very light unless you go over the same area a few times. These might be good for a 2 or 3 year old but that's about it. Even the "stencils" are very small and using large sticks on a small area, the image comes out looking very poor.

Very easy to use. Glad I have them for future Halloween. Will definitely come in handy. They don't glow...bought them for glow yoga, but not sellers fault, just my assumption.
