After receiving my stool today, I opened the packaging and heard debris any time I moved the box. The metal shavings that were left from the manufacturing process we left behind inside the frame. During transport (and assembly) the shavings were all over. I did my best to empty the shavings into the trash so they wouldn't make a mess and pose a hazard. If I hadn't noticed, I could've had bits of metal everywhere, which I find unsafe for pets/children, both of which we have.The hardware was all on the bottom of the box, the bad they were put in ripped and with directions had a different inventory amount listed for what I found. However, it only seems I was missing a washer, thankfully. I gave the stool a wipe down after assembly and the metal had coated quite a bit and it was pretty dirty coming right out of the box.Overall, the stool seems sturdy and I'm hoping it remains a reliable piece of furniture, but wanted to communicate the packaging issues for anyone else ordering. Mostly for the hazard and I received the brown "leather" top, but if it had been a light fabric it would've needed cleaning immediately and this isn't a cushion that would clean easily. That and you shouldn't have to clean a brand new item due to a preventable cause.I found the piece easy to assemble.

Our special needs son likes to eat his meals on a stool, watching TV. He's heavier now, so we upgraded to this, and it's perfect. Its modern look is also quite handsome, in my opinion.

It's a great-looking ottoman/stool, the cushion is really quite comfortable and attractive, and the body/frame is well made and appears sturdy, but there were lots of problems ...First, mine had so much tape over tape over tape, for the outside box as well as the inside box, that I knew it had to have been returned at least once by someone else.That wouldn't bother me if the company accepting the return would have checked the box to make certain all items were in there, especially the hardware to put it together, because they weren't. I was missing 2 of the 4 long screws (which attaches the cushion to the frame), as well as all 4 of the legs' floor protectors (though, the directions said there should be 6 of them - I have no clue where the additional 2 would even go - there are only 4 openings on the bottom of the stool).And the directions are not very consumer friendly. We had to put it together and take it apart 3 times before figuring it out.My husband then had to drive over to our hardware store and was able to duplicate the 2 missing long screws, so I was at least able to attach the cushion to the frame. He also had to buy a package of round felt self-sticking discs to place on the bottom so the stool wouldn't scratch our brand new vinyl tile floor.We put the stool together with parts that came it and parts we had to buy, and it is SO wobbly! At first I though it might be the part of the floor we put it on, but it's like that on ALL my floors. So my husband will have to figure out how to build up one side to make it still and level.And the accompanying hardware/screws - why oh why would the company give bright gold-colored screws that can be seen, on a fully black frame? I ended up taking a small paintbrush and painting the screw heads so they would blend in and not be so noticeable.

Good quality and stable after having it 5 days. Black bolts would make more sense than gold bolts that come w/other parts. Rubber stoppers to keep you from catching your hands on bolt stay in place as long as you never touch. Good quality product w/ a few minor disappointments.

Bought this and it would not assemble correctly. The company reached out when I planned to return it. They sent me a new one. It assembled perfectly! They made it right and I would buy from them again ! Thank you!

Obviously this has zero storage but it’s very sturdy and works well as a ottoman. I have a tray table on mine and often work from my laptop on the couch. It does stain a little easy, but I since I’ve sprayed it with fabric scotch guard it’s holding up much better.

Really nice linen material, easy to put together, and a nice navy color. Would definitely buy again, great purchase!!
