Good item for the money payed Review: you get what you pay for - I bought these chips to keep score while playing family board and card games, and maybe the occasional casual poker game. They were certainly affordable and good enough for my intended use, but they feel and look cheap and I'd be ashamed to use them with my more serious poker buddies. Overall I don't regret the purchase but if you're really into poker you might be happier investing in something higher quality. The chips have a nice weight but definitely feel like plastic; nobody will mistake them for clay casino chips. Fresh out of their wrapping they were very dusty and grimy, and my hands were covered with a gritty substance (almost like graphite dust) by the time I was done unpacking. Looking at the side of a stack of chips, the painted-on white stripes are noticeably sloppy and uneven, and there are flecks of blue paint on the edges of many of the white chips. The alignment of the paint on the faces of the chips is not great either; many of the chips have the "dice" dots printed on or outside the edges of the indented dice border, not centered. I do like the included dealer button, which, although plastic, has a nice smooth texture reminiscent of bone. The other buttons feel more like cheap plastic but it's handy to have them. The included dice are fine but not great. Each die has a face which is slightly domed so the die can rock back and forth when sitting on that face. The pips are indented and painted, not drilled like casino dice. The cards are BCG brand and feel flimsier and more papery than the Bicycle brand I usually get. The card box has a tiny flap which makes it hard to close. The aluminum (?) case looks ok from a distance but is flimsy. With very little effort I was able to pry the top edge of the case away from the side to reveal a gap. The inner plastic liner which holds the chips is already cracked at one edge and buckled slightly in many places. I'd expect the case to crack or fall apart if dropped from any height. The latches can be locked with included keys, but the keys aren't unique and I expect this feature is more to discourage the case from coming open accidentally than for security.

Great price for the quality
I'm very pleased with the quality. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I would think it's a big enough set for any poker night.

Good hefty chips
Good quality chips that feel the same weight as casino chips. The case was the weak point as it came cracked.
