Review: Avostat has increased my 17 year old dogs quality of life with renal failure! - My 17 year-old terrier mix has renal failure and seem to be on “deaths door”. My veterinarian recommended this if I chose to continue treatment and I did and I’m just amazed at how it’s stopped his delicate stomach from eating food that would give him diarrhea. He took antibiotics for a bladder infection did not have diarrhea at all, I almost didn’t want to do the treatment for his bladder infection because I knew it he was going to be miserable, but it wasn’t the case. I100% recommend this. It’s worth the cost to see your pet with a great appetite and solid bowel movements more active, his old self even though he won’t take the subcutaneous fluid fluids and so I stopped doing that he’s comfortable enough. I make his food, kidney healthy foods and treats so thankful for this medication to know about it. He is also taking Kan Herb Rehannia 8 also recommended by the veterinarian so both of them together have been a game changer. I hope this helps!
Review: Dog doesn’t mind it mixed with the food - Our old finicky girl doesn’t seem to mind this product mixed with her food. It’s much easier to use than the probiotic capsules and it’s much cheaper than the competitor. I can only hope that it’s helping her kidneys function better.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long is 1cc of oral paste when squized out of the dispenser? i follow the dispensing instructions but the squized portion seems too long.**
A: I haven’t used the oral paste - we use the powder form
That I have sprinkled on top of a food topper ( like fresh pet or wellness toppers ).

**Q: How much is in a scoop? is it the same as an azodyl #3 capsule? why doesn't it need to be refrigerated? i ran out of azodyl, cant find it anywhere**
A: I can’t tell you why it doesn’t need to be. I do know I read through all of these comment and a chemist or bio chemist checked the comparability and they were the same. The scoop was the same.

**Q: How many one scoop servings are in the container?**
A: Six ounces equals 120 doses equals 120 scoops. The exact servings then is determined by your pet's weight and your vet's recommendations.

**Q: In the description it says the item weights 10 pounds, is it really that heavy?**
A: It does not weight 10 pounds. I would recommend to reach out to the vendor for more details

Amazing supplement that is cheaper than what my vet had us using. She confirmed that this is a good alternative. I’ve been using it for two years and my cats quality of health remains intact. The seller is awesome and the product is always shipped fast. Thank you!
