The sound and bright button do not work both on Mac and Windows. Is there anyway to rectify it?

Can confirm both functions work on Android Huawei phone and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S5E tablets, no apple phones or tablets to test on, PC and laptop have their own keyboards.
