This is a great little gadget. I need a pin vise to drill into metal miniatures. I bought it to replace a brand name pin vise after it fell apart after a couple of uses. This one is pretty sturdy, with an adjustable stainless steel chuck that securly locks the bit in place. The whole unit fits perfectly in my hand, and is incredibly easy to operate. NB: given the toughness of the material I'm drilling into, I wouldn't trust the bits included and am using tungsten tipped bits I purchased separately instead. That said, both the pin vise and bits are a fraction of the cost of a brand name version.

Good price and quality

I read other’s reviews before purchasing, so was well aware the drill bits supplied with this hand drill were likely to not be great. I still bought it. The drill bits are not great.However, the actual hand drill itself is great value for money, so I would recommend it based on that.

Only really needed the drill holder but as it came with drills I gave it a try, the holder itself is fine and does the job but the drills are rubbish, no cutting edges!!.

Absolutely useless, drill bits flimsy and the chuck doesn't hold them even when tight. Would only work on the most soft of materials, 100% not for metal

not much to say really, it does the job.

I use this when I make modle cars/planes and irs perfect for drilling ports that should be open for example the exhaust port on a car
