They take a couple uses, before you get the hang of it. The flat part should be on the bottom, and the claw on top. Works very well. The claw goes into the spaces and provides a steady grip.

Great companion to a new waffle maker I gave as a Christmas gift. Performed like a champ for removing and transferring fresh waffles from waffle maker to serving platter, and again to plates at the table.

Purchased this waffle iron as a speed upgrade from our Cuisinart upright style Belgium waffler. As it makes two at a time the time savings is obvious. We keep a stack of Belgium Waffles in the freezer as a supply for most daily breakfasts. I share one waffle with my wife each having 1/2. With a need to watch calories, fat, cholesterol and sugar we're using a recipe for home made waffles rather than one of the sweet mixes common in supermarkets. Basically we use a mix of 40/60 whole wheat flour, applesauce instead of oil, egg whites only, baking powder. Not sweet but they rise and brown up fine. Texture is fine also. Add a topping you can live with and it tastes great to me. As to the new waffle iron. Those of us that ever made these things know that if you aren't careful you can get quite a mess. Switching to a horizontal iron instead of the vertical Cuisinart had me a little nervous about a possible mess. No Problem. Follow the directions, of course, that the iron comes with. I found if you pour an amount in a circle a short distance from the edge and then fill in everything else you'll get no overflow. A definite positive. Again, be sure to follow all of the directions concerning first use as to a primer type of oiling. Do this and sticking seems to be of little issue with the waffler. Timing of the cooking you'll get the feel of after you make a few. It's not an issue. I usually make about 25 of the waffles and get the better part of a month out of each effort. The double grill on this model sped things up greatly for me as opposed to our old waffler. It was a fine grill but this, this, is really great. Two at a time cuts the time consuming process in half. Can't beat that. Waffle quality is very good. Provides a well cooked crispy brown waffle with little drama. It may take a few till you get the feel for the appliance but it does work well. Now, on the other hand. I had one issue with it. The drip tray that it came with bubbled from the heat. I had a choice of forever keeping some aluminum foil over it when we make waffles, trying to get a new tray or returning the entire waffle iron. Opted to getting a replacement tray. Upon contacting the manufacturer of the waffler they asked for all kinds of information to a point that really was annoying. At first I was thinking they weren't going to take responsibility and send a new tray. I also found, by carefully reading their responses that they made some with a metal tray and some with plastic. Apparently, mine was of the plastic variety. They finally took responsibility for a problem that I feel they knew existed to start with. However, I had to pay about $5 to get the part shipped. Huh? For a spanking new appliance supplied with a defective part. No Good. Anyway, in the end I paid the shipping and await the part. After that I think we should be good. Soooo, product seems very good. Customer service perhaps with an attitude.

Great quality for the price, has a nice weight, and works for its intended purpose without melting. Don’t get caught w/o it as this tool is a standard necessity for a belgian waffle maker.

Love these tongs. Perfect size. You can grab whatever you need to turn over or pick up. This is a good quality product.

Completes the look. The color goes really nice with my pink mini waffle maker. It’s east to clean; lifts waffle from the iron with burns.

Returned once because it didn’t come with a free waffle recipe book. Replacement tongs came again without free waffle recipe book! I will keep but I really wanted the recipe book too! Should not advertise with free recipe book! It was a gift to accompany with a new waffle maker.

He recibido estas pinzas para goofres con la intención de usarlas junto a mi plancha goofrera. Realmente no conocía que hubiera pinzas así, y el otro día buscando unas pinzas para barbacoa vi estas pinzas para goofres y me parecieron tan buena idea que no dude en cogerlas. Están realizadas en plástico endurecido con cuerpo de acero inoxidable, tienen muy buena pinta, y visto como es el material veo que no se va a arañar la plancha goofrera al usarlas. Además el plástico endurecido que tienen evita que se degrade a altas temperaturas, ni que suelte micro partículas cancerígenas. El agarre es estupendo, se sujetan muy bien y es muy fácil usarlas con una sola mano para coger los goofres ya hechos sin quemarte y servirlos al plato directamente. Muy contento con mis pinzas goofreras.

Außerdem fügt es sich in der Küche nahtlos in die Reihe von anderen Metall/Silikon Hilfsmitteln ein. Und kann auch aufgehangen werden.

I am impressed by the quality and functionality of these tongs. They appear to be a bit small but they are well made and work well. The handle of the tong is made of metal and the gripper end is flat at one side and claw-shaped at the other side. I recently bought a sandwich maker with a waffle maker and panini attachment. I have used these tongs to lift everything from my 3 in1 sandwich maker and these have done a good job. They have also proven to be good at lifting kebabs, sausages, cookies, cake slices. In conclusion, this is a nifty tool to have in the kitchen, it's a bit small but work well for lifting a wide variety of food items.
