Its heavy so it sets the block faster and its very durable. I went through 2 other, kind of pricey, deadblow hammers on my retaining wall project before I bought this one and if I would have bought this first I would have saved just as much money as this hammer costs. Buy once, cry once; a lesson I seem to have to relearn on every large project like this.
